Day - 18 and Day - 19
Back to bay

The sadness was evident in all of them as they started their journey to Pune from where Aayrah and Ahana would leave for Mumbai. Aayrah looked at Ahana who was settled beside her. Ahana gave her a questioning look. Aayrah sighed.

"I am nervous to go back, Di," she said gaining attention from Shivansh and Chirag as well. Ahana crooked her eyebrows while looking back at Aayrah's frowned face.

"Job?" Ahana asked to which Aayrah nodded in agreement.

"I need to find a job and then search for MFA colleges and their entrances then prepare for them," Aayrah said shaking her head slightly thinking about everything ahead of her. She was excited and happy that she was sorted now but something still bothered her. She was nervous.

"It's a good thing that you are clear about your future, no?" Ahana asked narrowing down her eyes on Aayrah. She nodded in agreement.

"I am but I am anxious about my behaviour," she said truthfully. She just hoped that she don't ruin it like last time. It wasn't her fault before which she is still adamant about but she now thought that she should have listened to her seniors which was a big change in her that happened through time. "What if I ruin everything again or change my mind?" She asked looking at Ahana. But before Ahana could speak, Chirag thought of interfering.

"You won't, bunny," Chirag said looking at Aayrah by tilting his head while sitting in the passenger's seat beside Shivansh, "Now I see a more determined girl who is different than the one I met on my way to Dalhousie." Aayrah rolled her eyes hearing him.

"That's bullshit. I am the same," She said with a frown which made Chirag chuckle.

"But your thinking process is changed," Ahana said grabbing Aayrah's attention further.

"Is it?" Aayrah asked. Ahana chuckled and nodded.

"Yes," she said, "Now don't be grumpy over something so stupid." Aayrah sighed while looking out of the window.

"I guess but I might have to move out of Mumbai," she said. For the first time, the thought of leaving her home troubled her. This was the first time that she spent so much time with Ahana alone and she enjoyed it. Apart from that, the thought of going away to a different state leaving Shivansh troubled her which was new for her.

"Which you liked," Ahana asked taking her back from her thoughts. She looked back at Ahana as she spoke again, "To get away from home?"

"Hmm... I suppose," Aayrah said letting out a sigh.

"You will still be in India but I will be flying to the US soon," Chirag said getting attention to him. Shivansh had an idea while Ahana knew everything so it was just Aayrah who had a confused expression written all over her face.

"What? Why?" she asked. Chirag chuckled and looked back at her.

"Work," he said. She nodded absent-mindedly. Shivansh, who was silent all the while gave a brief look to Chirag and looked at the road again.

"Oh," Aayrah breathed.

"So you finally decided?" Shivansh asked raising his eyebrows while his eyes stayed on the road.

"Yup. Two years in the US and then back to India," Chirag said with a nod. Though he wanted to try on new opportunities after hearing Ahana the other day, he had his doubts. She was right after all. Running away from responsibilities or from your own parents won't be an option.

"You won't be coming back, Chirag," Ahana said taking him back. He narrowed his eyes and tilted his head to back as she spoke again, "This is your golden opportunity to get away from responsibilities." He just chuckled because even he doesn't know what his future holds. So talking or arguing about the same won't be good at this moment.
