I blinked , looking around . I couldn't believe what I'd just seen . I was back in the village again , looking across the table from Niklaus .
" Are you alright , Anastasia ? "he asked , looking over at me .
" Niklaus , where are we ? " I asked .
" The new world . Why ? What's gotten into you , love ? " he asked , pulling me into his arms .
I looked up at him and shook my head .
" I'm sorry ! This is wrong . I'm not the one you love! " I said , pushing out of his arms and running through the village , my long dress billowing out behind me as I ran , looking for Elijah .
I had to find him . Running past Henrick , I couldn't help but smile as people stopped and stared at me .
" Where is she going ? " asked someone .
I didn't care ! I just kept running until I heard his voice down in the meadow with someone else . Tatia . My heart sank .
" Tatiana , it is wrong for you to not tell your sister about your adulterous affair with Niklaus ! " he said .
Tatiana cried softly .
" Perhaps I will one day ! I love him , Elijah ! " Tatia said .
Elijah sighed .
" And so does she . " he said .
I hid behind a tree watching as Tatiana ran back through the woods in the direction of Klaus and once she was out of sight , I slipped out from behind a tree and walked up to Elijah in the meadow .
" You're wrong . " I said , looking over at him .
He looked over at me in surprise and embarressment .
" Wrong ? " he asked .
I nodded , walking closer to him .
" I don't love Niklaus . " I replied .
" You don't ? " he asked , even more confused then ever .
"No . I love you . " I replied , pulling him down into a kiss .
Elijah was surprised by the kiss , but wrapped his arms around my waist , holding me close to him .
" What brought this up ? " he asked with a smile .
" A dream . A very nice dream . " I replied with a small smile .
Elijah chuckled .
" A nice dream , huh ? " he asked .
" Elijah , it was more then a dream . It was a vision . Today is the first day of the rest of our lives and I can't wait to share my life with you all over again . " I whispered , pulling him down into another kiss knowing that this wasn't the end .
It was just the beginning . I'd seen our future . And it was bright .
