Katsuki Bakugo was blinded by his own wrath to be able to sense the looming presence of a newcomer entering the range of the amassed trees he was forced to seek refuge in. His body was brimming with flames- burning with fervid ire dedicated to no one and nothing but his goal of putting the true devil to rest, Enji, the ruler of the Doryoku kingdom, the culprit of the deaths of his comrades. They played dirty. They always did, and he, including the other dragons he saved, almost fell victim to their trap this time. It was such a grave timing. The flock was just out to scavenge for herbs for the ill dragons in their homeland, and the friends decided to take it to their advantage without even batting an eye at their own humanity.
Humans were the real monsters. And only the Gods knew how much Katsuki yearned to dig his nails unto the flesh of that devil of a king until his very existence crumbles into nothing but ashes.
Nonetheless, the semi-dragon was stuck on his knees, much to his despair. he wanted to move his body, but it wouldn't do as he said. He knew he shouldn't continue on in such a grave state- but his instincts screamed otherwise. That was when his gaze met a pair of oak and turquoise orbs. His bleared eyes widened, as his teeth were quick to resurface just as his pugnacious nature. He growled as if to warn the stranger."D-don't you dare step anymore closer-!" He wouldn't hesitate to take on his original form if the situation called."I'll fucking kill you!! Don't touch me!"
The ash-blond's voice sent flinch to the prince, he hesitated his steps on approaching closer. This isn't right, this person looked so badly injured and needed to be treated as soon as possible. He can't possibly leave this person alone just because he told him so. Though upon his condition, he can't possibly hurt the prince. For as someone who perfectly healthy and fine as the prince, Shoto was supposed to help the others who aren't as well as him. He took a deep inhale, refusing to stay further as to how the male requested, and kneeled next to him. His hands were shoved into his medicine bag to search for the needed items for this treatment.
"Just stay put. I will leave as soon as I treated your wounds. I will finish this quick," He reassured. How was he supposed to make this person at ease, he wondered. If this male struggles so much it wouldn't do. The wounds will just reopen and there's no point in his treatment. If it wasn't for the immense burning sensation that had swallowed Katsuki's system whole, he would have had his fangs and claws out and scales sharply-- racking up the remaining bits of his hostile nature of being an alpha and that of a dragon king heir.
But Katsuki was rather too focused on gripping unto one of the tree's roots that crawled beneath him, having them as his leverage to keep himself in place and to divert his attention from the pain. He was seething with rage, both mentally and emotionally- and he felt pathetic.
That didn't seem to matter, however, as such a lump of strained thoughts were immediately wiped out at the contact of a warm yet minty liquid with his wounds. He was forced to throw his head back, scrunch his face and constrain a squall. his lower lip bled, all for the purpose of suppressing his noises that he deemed shameful for someone of such a high position-- even the highest among all of the monarchy, moreover.
"F-fuck-!"
The semi-dragon heaved with distinct weariness, the up and downslope of his muscles highlighted by the sweat that glistened on his tan skin. Once he recovers a tad, he redirects his gaze- or his glare, rather, to the bicolor-haired male, calloused fingers slicing through the air as he grabbed the stranger's collar harshly.
"W-Why the fuck are you doing this, huh?! What do you need from me? What do you know about me? Just who, in this damned fucktard land, are you?!"
Shoto flinched upon the other male's sudden action. For a person who was this injured, he wasn't supposed to be able to move this much. Too many movements might reopen the wounds he just treated but it seems impossible for this ash-blond to comply with him.
"I don't know anything about you neither needed anything," Shoto spoke out, keeping his nonchalant expression. He needed to stay calm to ensure this male he doesn't have any ill intention. He was just wanting to help, no more and less.
"I'm a traveler, searching for new plants as my research. I'm in process of making medicine," Shoto spoke once more. Details about him and where he came from he didn't include. That doesn't matter for now. After treating this man, he'll continue his doing and looked for any shelter he could use to spend his night with.
He wasn't lying, after all, he just doesn't tell everything.
Katsuki's eyes were narrowed in disbelief, scanning through the male's feature as if he was examining his honesty. It was difficult to. This male doesn't even react much when he suddenly grabbed his collar. As if he was expecting this to happen, or he just doesn't react much to anything. The ash-blond assumed it was a half-truth even though he didn't trust this male a bit. What he needs was his wounds treated and healed, but not by some random anonymous.
"Traveler, bandit, or whatever shit you are. I don't give a damn care. If you're doing your fucking research or whatever I don't need you to fucking waste your shit on me. Leave!"
Katsuki had his pride to shield. He didn't want himself to receive such help nor in debt with a random person, he just met. He is a king who just ascended the throne, once who was so reputable for his kingdom as himself doesn't need to be saved by a low-life peasant. Well, at least that was what he thought Shoto was judging by his clothing.
"You're as stubborn as a donkey."
That was unexpected to hear. Katsuki was shocked, his anger was challenged once again which his forehead begin to wrinkle. His mouth was opened to escape another yell but it was suddenly blocked by a cloth. This guy was really demanding to be murdered for treating a king this way. Not to mention this peasant was an omega. Katsuki couldn't see through the cloak, but he does notice this stranger's scent. It was without doubt a scent of an omega. Not to mention he just called a prideful dragon king as a donkey- a motherfucking donkey-
"You see. I'm kind enough to help you here and I'm tired of repeating my words. This is almost done, anyway," Shoto spoke, his eyes planted on the treatment he was working on. Katsuki had spitted the cloth that was used to block his mouth and glared on this omega, his teeth were gritting in anger.
"You fucking have a gut, for a peasant omega."
Shoto's doing was stopped upon hearing that, slowly lifting his chin to have his bi-colored orbs meeting the other's ruby eyes. He thought it would be alright if he was this close since the other male was injured. Now that he mentioned, this was the very first time he was this close with an alpha. He didn't have any good memories with them either. Shoto immediately changed his sight direction, turning to face the wounds once again.
"It's done-"
Before the bi-colored prince was able to finish his sentence, the semi-dragon had immediately moved, switching their place, and pinned the prince against the tree he was leaning on earlier. The sudden pin created a thump when Shoto's head harshly hit the tree. He growled and furrowed his eyebrows. "Hey! What's this for?!" Shoto exclaimed.
"How careless you are, unmated omega to be this close with an unmated alpha. You sounded so smart yet a dumbass inside,"
