This too-close distance, the reek of this unknown alpha's scent that mixed with distress and agony. Blood and wounds, Shoto could have sworn he even saw some patch of red on the bandages he just finished working on. This 'acting so great king' really starting to irk Shoto. A frustrated sigh left the omega's lips as he responded to the stare with his own.

An omega should have been scared to encounter an alpha this way.

The slightest pheromones of anger, demand, and power could have made an ordinary omega tremble in fear.

Yet this one dared to return Katsuki's deathly glare as if it was a mere stare. As if the one he was facing wasn't the youngest, most achievements achieved Dragon King in the whole history of the dragon land, Ryotatsu. Now that the ash-blond had stared on the omega real close, he could see the prince's feature more clearly.

Pair of long eyelashes that looked gorgeous once batted. A truly half and half bastard. In all of the odd features, he had seen, from the most hideous to the most terrifying monsters, none were as odd as this omega. Dual-colored locks that evenly split in the middle, and holy shit. His eyes were bi-colored too.

"Weird looking bastard,"

Katsuki breathed out, and before his lips could work on more snarls and curses, the discomfort on his torso struck. The hand that was planted on the tree which used to pin Shoto was starting to scratch through the woods with his long claws and the annoyance Shoto felt earlier disappeared.

"I told you to not move much, didn't I?" Shoto sighed and his hands pushed the taller man, gently but rather quickly. Katsuki was in too much pain to run his words nor move again, so Shoto took that as an opportunity to resume his work. Though before he could, the tree branches swayed and the leaves rustled. As if something was flying ready to land very near towards them. A huge winged creature, was it a dragon? Shoto thought to himself.

And his guess was correct once he saw a crimson scaled dragon met eyes and eyes with him. Despite the intimidating appearance, Shoto couldn't see it as much. The eyes don't look blazingly in anger just like this certain unconscious ash-blond.

The dragon growled as it aimed his hand to the prince, in an attempt to stray him away from- Shoto guessed, the dragon's injured king. Shoto dodged quickly and in time before the large-scaled limb hit him. The said red dragon eyed his king then back at the prince then in an instant, he transformed into his semi-human self.

Red locks like his scale and that pair of crimson eyes. The red-headed seemed to panic.

"Oh shit, oh shit. Bakubro?! These bandages- thought you were one of those guys. You treated him, dude?" The male began to spoke. Shoto responded with a small nod and the man grinned.

"Thank you so much! I don't know what would have happened if the treatment delays any time soon. I'm Eijiro by the way! Eijiro Kirishima!"

So much for a dragon that looked so protective earlier...now he was introducing himself in such a friendly way? Shoto picked out one of the leaves that landed on top of his hoodie that covered his dual-colored hair. "I haven't finished. The weapon that injured him seems to be laced with some poison, and I know the remedy. I've done what I could to stop it from spreading but it won't stay long,"

Eijiro nodded. "Alright! I'm bringing you to our home. You can resume your work there and I can help with what I can!"

The dragon brought Shoto to the said home. A large village filled with semi-dragons who rather lived like other human beings. Noises of crowds filled the area of some selling goods, families spending their time, and kids running around. Some even nearly ran into Shoto.

Dragons are intelligent but never good creatures. They destroy and devour everything in sight.

Such a horrifying creature wouldn't be living this peaceful, happy just by themselves. They seemed to be humanlike, having their feelings too. His father is a cursed man. Trying to corrupt Shoto's mind under his wrath for years. And truth to be said...

Shoto was afraid of dragons.

He was playing it cool like 'Eyo, you're a dragon? Cool,' but that's not the case. Now he's alright since most of the people here were in humanoid form, except for some who had their tail and horns on themselves. One dragon, a large black and furious red striped dragon has once broken his kingdom's territory and created a hazard. Shoto couldn't remember much, everything was in faint memories but he was told as such. He was told his burnt scar was caused by a very berserk dragon.

Shoto resumed the treatment, looking through his bottles of self-made medicine, cleaning the wounds, and bandages them cleaner this time. While the dragon king stays unconscious, Shoto has exited the hut-like home. The surrounding was bizarre for Shoto. This land and the humans looked so contrast. Excluded of how they were mostly in their pack, like wolves. Houses weren't one each family for Shoto could guess, few families due to how mansion-like they were. Some people live in huge houses just because but this was not the case. Shoto saw the families exiting their place, greeting each other like neighbors yet lives in the same place.

So harmony. If only his kingdom was like this.

The Dragon King was in slumber for an hour and Shoto stayed outside of the bamboo house. He received odd stares. Of course. He's an outlander, disguised so suspiciously with a hood that never failed to hide his stand-out feature. He could even detect the pressure in their eyes and behavior, eyeing Shoto as if once ordered to be killed by their king, they would do without hesitance.

He was trained years by his father. To not faze with dominant pheromones of alphas, to not tremble and felt his legs weak on any presence of one. It could be because of the strange thing his father has done to him in the past. Truth be told, his father has never not been suspicious in Shoto's eyes. One time during his childhood the everything was ordinary, until one day after he woke up, his mother was sick. And everything turned hellish.

"Oi,"

The raspy voice stole Shoto's attention as he turned, seeing the tall ash-blond alpha leaned next to the door. Arms crossed on his bandaged torso and chest. Shoto blinked from the sight and frowned. "Why are you not on the bed?"

"Fuck that," Katsuki grunted. "Come the fuck in, dipshit,"

Katsuki left to enter the place and Shoto followed him, watching Katsuki sat on the bed and groaned. Shoto felt awkward, not knowing what should he say, and just sat on the chair next to the bed. Out of blue, the alpha grabbed the hoodie that hides Shoto's look and pulled it back to reveal Shoto's full features.

"No wonder you're hiding your look so bad. A hideous little shit,"

Shoto furrowed his brows from such a comment. "Says the one who looked like a wreck. Is that how you say thanks?"

The grip tightened and Katsuki yanked the cloak harshly, made Shoto hissed from such doing. "I see you as nothing but a fucktard that dared to trespass my land, planning to send harm to my people and steal shits. But I guess that's not it. You look like a weakling. An /omega/ too. Just what can you do by yourself?" Katsuki sneered, pulling away from keeping his hold.

Some knocks were heard, pausing the deathly glares that were given by both royalty and a female entered. With a tray of meals in her hands and she set them by the table. "Your meal, my king. And another for the healer as you requested,"

Katsuki began to mumble some curses and Shoto stared in disbelief. The king requested a meal for him? What about all the tough and 'I don't give a fuck' acts he put up earlier?

Shoto was famished. He was trained to mind his etiquette and mannerism for years but now, he wanted nothing but to devour the meals like one hungriest beast. You can't blame him, he hasn't eaten for three days.

"The fuck you're staring for? Just fucking eat it or not at all!"
