"Good morning!"Shoto received greetings as soon as he stepped out. Some semi-dragons passed by and smiled at Shoto, giving friendly waves and Shoto wasn't sure at first if he should greet them back, but he did so. Waved back, answering the greetings.
So this is how it's like.
If you're not treated as an outlander but as a part of the village itself. No longer an eerie atmosphere but this light, generous environment.
"Yo! Did you have a nice sleep?" A blond came over to him while grinning big. His eyes were also shining yellow. "I'm Denki Kaminari, will be your guide for today. So you won't get lost and accidentally met a beast,"
Shoto loved this. He wasn't treated as some sort of weak fragile omega. This was perhaps because of how the people here do their everyday life. Dragons are known for their extraordinary hard skin when they're in their form, and also their brute strength. So he bet the omegas were all outstanding in strength and defense too.
"I'm an alpha and have already mated. You see that pretty yet scary-looking girl there?" he whispered and pointed at a certain purple-haired girl. "She's really cute if she wasn't mad,"
Shoto wanted to chuckle but he didn't, due to his expressionless demeanor. "You're an omega, right? How rare! Male omegas are like- one in a million! Your future alpha will be lucky," he added cheerfully and Shoto hummed in response.
Future alpha...Shoto has never thought of that. He found it unnecessary.
Denki began his guide after some small chit-chat, pointing out the market spot, the training ground, the small hut school for children to learn hunting and protect themselves, the nests and spot where pregnant omegas deliver, the ceremony and festivals area. Shoto couldn't take his eyes off each place, they were all decorated beautifully with flowers and plants, everything looked so connected with the greenery and nature. Not a land of invention like his own.
"Do you have libraries that are filled with certain books?" Shoto asked. "One with descriptions of flora and faunas in Ryotatsu?" he added.
"Oh, we have libraries! But the one with such books is the medical home. I'll lead you there,"
The two went to the said place. The children that were previously infected are resting and getting better, they greeted Shoto and Shoto waved at them. Denki brought him to a room where the medicines books are on the shelves. Shoto looked in amazement.
He didn't expect it to be huge shelves filled with books just about floras and faunas of this land. He just thought it would be one to three books. This increased Shoto's excitement of exploring.
"So many," he breathed out.
"Yeah! But the books of most dangerous ones were with the higher-up dragons like Kirishima, Mina, and Bakugo. Our folk is risk-takers. Once some read about dangerous stuff they would straightaway face them...but we have magic barriers protecting people from approaching the areas.
Those plants well- the huge ass ones that could even shoot elemental magic. Even larger than any dragons here," Denki explained and Shoto nodded.

Shoto has finished his task for today. Feeding the children with medicine and watch them having their meals. Some baby dragons wanted to cling and climb on Shoto to play with the omega prince but Shoto keeps constantly avoid them. He still tried to treat them as nice as he could but usually would ask for another healer to treat them.
I'm sorry little ones. I'll play with you once I- a little braver.
While he's on his break, he would read the books Denki showed him earlier. Searching through them and read the description. Shoto copy-pasted them into his book, writing down and drew the flowers.
"Slacking off, huh?"
Shoto turned over to see the ash-blond male, crossing his arms and had his permanent scowl while staring down on Shoto. "Oh. I just finished, it'll be a while before their second dose. Are you here to check on them?"
"Just because you helped some brats doesn't mean I trust you. I have to keep an eye on you in case you're planning some awful shit," Katsuki glared dagger and clicked his tongue. "Tch. I'm the fucking king, watching over some fuckers is my fucking job,"
Yeah. Certain King, I know never cared about his own family...let alone his people.
"Oi. Give me your name, half and half,"
"If I do will you stop calling me that?" Shoto asked.
"I'll call you whatever I want," Katsuki scoffed.
"Fine, it's..." Oh. Shoto has never thought of this. If he gives his surname Katsuki probably could guess right away that he's Enji Todoroki's son. He probably will have his body shredded apart and grilled alive.
He wasn't afraid of dying but he can't die just yet. Not until he save his mother.
Alright. Give the most common name that won't make this King suspicious. That's easy.
"Shoto Himura," he replaced Todoroki with his mother's family name. His mother wasn't a royal at first so this will be fine. Shoto didn't like to lie as well so this was indeed a safe decision.
"Your fucking magic is fire and ice?"
The question made Shoto blinked. He has never used his quirk on a large scale just yet, only to heat up and cool the medicine ingredients. "Or just small temperature regulation? Answer all my questions. I have to know every single shit about an outsider if they want to stay their asses here,"
"You're oddly observant," Shoto could have sworn not even a spark of flame or ice he had created. "Yes. My magic is half cold half hot. I can regenerate high temperature with my left side, while the opposite on my right,"
"That explains your fucking half and half feature," Katsuki mumbled, hand holding his chin in a thinking way.
"You have the book about plants here right? Let me take a look," Shoto requested and Katsuki furrowed his brows.
"Fuck off. I've already given you a favor by letting you wander your ass around,"
"Ah, you're worried I might get attacked?" Shoto tilted his head and Katsuki slammed his hand on the table.
"Hah?! To hell with that bullshit! Who the fuck are you for me to worry about?! Fine! Meet me in my room by lunch and dare to make me wait, you won't be able to touch a single page of it,"As Katsuki left, Shoto chuckled to himself. Katsuki was aggressive and irritatingly loud, but he was unexpectedly so easy to handle. You just need to flip on the right switch.

As soon as lunchtime came, Shoto didn't have his meal just yet, he stepped to Katsuki's room first. Pushing open the door, his eyes wandered for the young king but he was nowhere in sight.
Out of the blue, Shoto was pushed against the wall in a strong force, his back slammed the wall. A small wince and he lifted his chin to see the ash-blond male. Arms planted on the wall on top of the prince's head, his other hand was right next to his side to avoid Shoto freeing himself. Katsuki looked down on him with his fierce stare, and Shoto was speechless.
What's with this situation?
His heart was beating so fast as if it's going to burst through his chest. His breathing was uneven, and he was sure his face was bright red from embarrassment. Shoto could notice the king's smell. The smell of burnt oakwood and caramel.
Katsuki leaned his face closer and Shoto sunk his head lower as if trying to hide his face under his shirt. To be honest, Shoto wanted to hide his whole self from Katsuki. Probably dig a huge hole and stay six feet under.
The king's face softened and he charmingly smirks. Charming? Shoto thought of Katsuki as charming?
"Not so great to run your annoying little mouth anymore, huh?"
He voiced, pulled away, and smacked Shoto's head with the thick book which made Shoto yelped. "Here. Now get out,"
Shoto took the book and watched Katsuki stepped away. A small frown on Shoto"s face. The prince began to feel annoyed too.
Alright...remind Shoto to not annoy Katsuki too much in the future.
