The Sides, and Thomas, appeared in Deceits room. It was.. Not what any of them expect to be honest. The room was a replica of Thomas, which was expected due to it being Deceits corner room and not his actual bedroom, but the place was dusty and wallpaper was peeling. It was the exact opposite of what Deceit stood for and Thomas didn't want to believe Deceit let his corner get this.. Unorganized.
"Ignore the mess. I haven't been here since Anxiety got accepted. Anyways, Anxiety and Morality are abusive and toxic. Don't try to lie because I can't even lie in here. This room filters lies and you'll grow scales if you try." Deceit hissed our angrily.
Virgil smirked and shook his head. He knew how to lie without actually lying. "I wasn't being toxic, I told Remus and Logan exactly what Thomas has said over and over again. All I did was stretch the truth just a little bit."
"And what exactly did you tell them, Anxiety?" Thomas asked with a raised eyebrow. Virgil looked at Thomas with widened eyes.
"I-.. That you would be better off without them and Remus needs to shut up." Virgil shifted uncomfortably in his spot on the dust, creaky stairs. Jeez, for self preservation, you'd think that Deceit knew how to clean up after himself.
Thomas paled, regretting everything he has said. "I didn't mean it. Emotions clouded my judgment and I lashed out without thinking it through."
"I mean.. You meant it at the time Kiddo, didn't you?" Patton asked with sickening sweetness.
"No.. No I didn't.." Thomas replied quietly. "I hurt Remus and Logan both, neither of which deserved to be hurt.."
"We need to convince them to come back before they fade away.." Deceit murmured as he stood in front of Thomas. He placed his hand on the hosts shoulder and gave it a slight squeeze of comfort.
"Remus..isn't a bad person.." Roman spoke up for the first time since they were there. "He acts demented but he's really not.."
"And how would you know that? You don't even like him!" Virgil hissed out angrily.
"Yeah kiddo, I'm disappointed in you." Patton added on.
Roman winced and looked down, tears filling his eyes as he mumbled out an apology.
"Roman, come here," Thomas murmured. Roman did as he was told, letting out a squeak as Thomas hugged him. "Let's go save your brother and Logan."
"If we go to Remus' room, we might be able to summon Logan there as well. They stay at each other's side when they're upset so it's only logical to keep them together." Deceit spoke after a while. He turned to the two toxic Sides. "As for you two..- You'll be spending a lot of time in the forbidden hallway with an old friend until you stop being assholes."
Virgil's eyes widened and he started shaking. "N-no! Please no! I-Ill be good for you Dee! I promise! Pl-please just don't send me there!"
Dee's chest tightened as he watched Virgil panic. "You'll spend one week there, then you may cone back if your behavior has changed."
Tears filled Virgil's eyes but he nodded anyways. Patton, however, didn't understand how scary this.. "friend" ..can truly be so he wasn't afraid of going to the forbidden hallway.
Decent waved his hand and sent the two Sides to the darkscape. "Let go to Remus' corner before it's too late.."
With a nod, Thomas closed his eyes and brought the two good bois to the dukes corner.

Shut Up |Remus Angst|
FanfictionRemus spoke too much. Or, at least, that's what he figured Thomas meant when he yelled at him to shut up. Maybe he thought too deeply about it. Maybe he shouldn't have taken Thomas's words to heart.. Or maybe he just needed to learn when to shut...
