(also imma be doing score stuff cuz im a tennis player so why not but if u dont know heres a guide:
0 points- love
1 point- 15
2 points- 30
3 points- 40
4 point- game (if you win, if its a tie its deuce)
Ad in- advantage for the server
Ad out- advantage for the other player
(if it goes into deuce and ad a player must get 2 points in a row, if not they alternate between deuce and ad until someone gets 2 points in a row)
You have to win 6 games (24 or more points) to win a set, and best of 3 (or 5) wins the whole match
Idrk how team stuff works tho I wasnt in a competitive team this year

"Akaaashiiiiiii, lets go this way, we gotta buy some snacks before movie night! I think we can take a shortcut here." Bokuto said. The Fukurodani volleyball team usually had a movie night on Friday after practice. Tonight they were having it at Konoha's place and it was Akaashi and Bokuto's job to get the snacks for the movie. Akaashi followed Bokuto as they went through a different path. After a while they didn't recognize where they were.

"Bokuto, are you sure this is a shortcut?" Akaashi questioned.

"I swear there was a shortcut here!" Bokuto exclaimed, getting irritated because he knew they were lost.

"It's okay Bokuto, i'll just look it up on maps." Akaashi sighed and pulled out his phone, typing the store address into google maps. "It says to keep going straight for a bit." They continued to walk straight until they heard yelling. They walked towards the direction of the noise since it was on their way. They turned and saw a bunch of guys playing on tennis courts. They were all in a uniform with the same colors as the volleyball team.

"Do we have a tennis team Akaashi??" Bokuto asked.

"Yeah, I actually have a friend on the team. His name is (M/N), he's the one with the bandana." Akaashi said, pointing to the player on the court closest to them. They stood quietly and watched as (M/N) and another person played. The point ended with the other player hitting the ball out of bounds. They watched as (M/N) tossed up the ball and hit a powerful serve, the other player being unable to return it, and the game ended.

"Did you see that Akaashi?! That's so cool!!" Bokuto yelled, catching (M/N)'s attention. (M/N) saw Akaashi and walked towards them, wanting to say hi to his friend.

"Hey Akaashi! I didn't know you came around here." (M/N) said while drinking some water.

"Usually I don't, but he wanted to take a shortcut and we got lost." Akaashi stated, pointing towards Bokuto

"Akaaaashiiii, don't tell him that!" Bokuto pouted, embarrassed that Akaashi said that out loud. (M/N) chuckled.

"Well i'm glad you stopped by." (M/N) turned to Bokuto. "So who are you?"

"I'm Bokuto! 3rd year on the volleyball team!" Bokuto proudly introduced himself.

"Ah, so this is your captain with the mood swings Akaashi?" (M/N) asked.

"Yup." Bokuto stared at Akaashi dumbfounded. He didn't think that Akaashi would tell people that.

"Well it's nice to meet you Bokuto. I'm (M/N), 2nd year, and captain of the tennis team." (M/N) smirked.

"It was nice to talk (M/N), but we need to get going." Akaashi said.

"Fair enough, i'll see ya later Akaashi, and hopefully you too Bokuto." (M/N) said, winking at Bokuto.
