The Demon's Lover (Meliodas)

Chapter 11

They appear in a cell.

"Lady Ayano" Elizabeth says worriedly

"Where are we?' Ayano asks "does it look familiar?"

"I'm not sure" Elizabeth answers

"Ugh" Ayano sighs "mage's are so annoying"

"Welcome back to Liones, Princess Elizabeth" The mage suddenly speaks up "and I take offence to that Demon Sin of Lust"

"Demon sin.." Elizabeth mumbles

Ayano turns and glares at the mage "how do you know that?"

"So the rumors are true" the mage says

Elizabeth turns to the woman, "You're the one who brought us here" She goes to her, "Bring us back to Sir Meliodas!" 

The mage laughs and disappears 

"Now that they have you their's no way they're letting you go" Ayano sighs "but we can't just sit here"

Elizabeth look around "Is this really Liones?"

"Must be" Ayano puts her hand on the wall

"EEEEEKKK!" they turn to see Hawk still needing a shit, "What is this place? I swear... I'm at my limit! It's coming out! It's coming out!! But! I have too much pride as the Boar Hat's mascot to let that happen!" 

Hawk bangs his hooves on the ground before running to the door, knocking it over, running to the right to do his business then comes back looking almost good as new expecting his head bleeding, "Mission accomplished!" 

They leave the cell and Hawk attacks a lowly knight, who was put as their guard

"This has to be the dungeons" Ayano turns to Elizabeth "Come on, stay behind me"

"G-got it" Elizabeth sticks close to her

Ayano leads the way through the dungeons, Elizabeth and Hawk stay close behind her.

"Lady Ayano..." Elizabeth says timidly

"yes?" Ayano looks back at her "what is it Lizzy?"

Elizabeth looks down "Um.. I don't want to sound offensive or anything but-"

"It's about what the mage called me right?" Ayano stops walking and looks at her

"y-yes" Elizabeth looks at her hopefully "Lady Ayano, I don't believe you have any bad intentions or anything, I just couldn't stop wondering if their was a reason you, a-a demon, joined the sins"

"...well.. at first when Meliodas wanted to make the sins I wanted nothing to do with it, as a demon I would've been going against my own kind" Ayano turned around and begun walking again, the other two followed her as she continued "when Meliodas went to find others to join the Sins I decided to go on my own journey, at the time all he did was smile and tell me that he'd find me"

Elizabeth smiles "that's so sweet"

"I suppose" Ayano blushes a bit before looking serious again "the rest is a long story, but in the end as you can see I am a sin, the Sin of Lust. I came to the decision of joining so that I could watch over Meliodas, I wouldn't want him getting hurt"

"Lady Ayano" Elizabeth stands beside her "I think sir Meliodas is lucky to have someone who loves him so much"

"N-now isn't the time for this Elizabeth" Ayano tells her

"right sorry" Elizabeth smiles

"Elizabeth..." Someone calls out "Elizabeth is that you?"

"Sister Margaret," Elizabeth goes to the door where the voice came out of a "Sister Margaret, is that you? You've been in here... this whole time... Sister... are you... well?"

"I'm alright Elizabeth... But what about you?" Margaret asks " Father and I have been so worried"

Ayano stops paying attention to them when she senses large amounts of magical energy, a familiar one in particular.

"I'd know that one anywhere" Ayano looks up "Meliodas.. please don't lose control"

"Are you two sisters discussing a jailbreak?" The mage appears behind them

Ayano jumps in front of Elizabeth to protect her

"How did you manage to break out of your cell?" The mage looks at Ayano "Was this your doing, sin of lust?"

"heh wouldn't you like to know" Ayano didn't move

"Why are you doing this? It's so cruel!" Elizabeth yells at the mage, "Locking my sister in the dungeon... Let her out immediately!" 

"That's fine by me. Now, Princess Elizabeth, I'm going to move you to a safer location," The mage says reaching out to her

"I don't think so" Ayano uses dark magical power to blast the mage back

"Careful now little demon" the mage stands back up "you wouldn't want to lose control now would you?"

"if it's against you I wouldn't mind" Ayano smirks, she turns her head to look at Elizabeth "don't worry, I'll protect you"

"but if you're protecting her, who'll protect you" the mage points her staff at her

"Lady Ayano" Elizabeth says worriedly

"Just stay behind me" Ayano commands

"Freeze Coffin!" the mage shouts

A strong blast comes out of her staff .

Ayano puts her hands up "inf-"

The blast hits her before she could finishing her counterattack. Elizabeth shouts in fear as Ayano's body became ice and was completely frozen.

"No!" Elizabeth shouts "Lady Ayano!"

"Ayano.." Hawk cries "she's frozen solid"
