Hear Her Out

We arrive at home and the first thing the boys do is try there new video game out. Us girls try on our shoes and have a catwalk in my bedroom. Cal started to lighten up during the car ride and actually started talking. I feel real bad because I know how much anger he took out on Lacey today. She deserved it though. "Man I feel bad for Cal" I say sitting on my bed. "Ya he really freaked out at her" Kat says as her and Mika sit on the bed as well. "Well she deserved it" Mika says. "Ya she definitely did. Pour Cal's life was miserable with her" I say. "Well don't worry, I would never act that way or be like Lacey" Mika adds. We all smile and walk downstairs.

Cal is actually laughing and smiling with the boys while playing his game. I'm happy he's actually conversing with people now. He can smile again! "So he has a smile" Mika says as we walk into the room. Cal laughs and kisses her. "And it's perfect" she says kissing him back. "So what do we do now babe?" Ashton says as I sit and cuddle with him. "Have dinner?" Kat says sitting with Mikey. "I'm too tired to cook!" I say pretending to sleep on Ashton's chest. "We could order pizza" Ashton says. "I'm done" I say. "Sure" Kat adds. Ashton grabs the phone and orders the pizza. "One cheese and one pepperoni. No sauce. Oh and 7 cokes please. 34 Mocking street. Thank you" Ashton says on the phone and hangs up.

"It'll be here in half an hour" Ashton says.

"Shit mate you know what I just realized?" Cal says sitting down with Mika. "What?" Luke says. "Tour starts in three months! We should probably get practicing! You as well girls!" Cal says.

Shit I totally forgot about the tour.

"You're right mate! Double band practice first thing tomorrow?" Michael offers to the group. Everyone nods in agreement.

I grab the remote and put on "Two Broke Girls" one of our favourite tv shows. We sit and wait for the pizza.

*30 minutes later*

*knock knock* we hear and everyone turns there's heads toward the door. I get up off Ashton and open the door.

The pizza guy.

"Here's your pizza miss" the pizza guy says handing me a couple pizza boxes. "Hang on lemme get my credit card". I run into the kitchen and grab my credit card. He hands me a machine. I swipe my card and hand it back to him. He hands me a receipt and leaves as I shut the door. "Dinner!" I say putting the boxes down. Everyone grabs a slice and goes back to the couch to eat. We put on another episode of two broke girls and eat pizza.

Around 3 episodes later we hear another knock on the door. "But our Pizza is already here" Michael says scratching his head acting confused. We all laugh and I get up to answer the door but look through the spy hole first.

I recognize the girl I see through the hole.

Shit.

I open the door just so my body can fit through the crack and close the door behind me so that nobody sees that it's Lacey at the door. The last thing we want is for Cal to freak out again. "What the fuck are you doing here!" I whisper loudly so comes off as a yell.

“Look. I just want to say sorry to Cal,” Lacey try’s to explain herself. “What persuaded you to this all of a sudden?” I say crossing my arms in a bitchy way. “Well the driver of my cab was really quite so the whole ride back to my house I was thinking. If Cal really meant what he said about the year we dated being the worst year of his life, then I want to apologize. I didn’t know he felt that way. Most of the guys that I usually date don’t care about all that gooey lovey dove stuff. They just want sex and I guess I’m good.” She laughs. I see she is trying to lighten the mood but I just shake my head with a straight face telling her that it wasn’t a laughing matter. “Continue” I say. “Anyways, I just feel really bad that he had such a horrible time. Nobody has ever screamed at me like he did in the mall today and it opened my mind to thinking that maybe I should apologize,” Lacey finishes.

“Well I can tell you now that he was serious when he said it was the worst year of his life. You really hurt him Lacey” I say. “That’s why I want to apologize! So please let me come in and talk to him.” Lacey pleads. “I will let you come apologize but don’t expect him to forgive you” I say. Lacey nods and I tell her to stay outside till I come back out. I slip inside and Lacey does as she’s told.

“So Cal, you could do this in here, or come outside BUT bring someone just incase something happens.” I say standing at the door.

“Well I don’t really want to get up so I guess I’ll just do whatever it is in here?” Cal says. “Okay then” I say opening the door to reveal a smiling Lacey.

When Calum see’s her, his face immediately fills with hatred. “Sam!” Ashton says once he sees her. “Hear her out” I say to Ashton. He relaxes a little then puts an arm around Calum.

 “Or I could do this outside, Ashton come” Calum says pulling Ashton up off the couch once he stands up. “You too babe” Ashton says dragging me outside with Cal. I follow and shut the door behind me. The last sight I see of inside is Mika getting tense and Michael trying his best to comfort her.
