When school ended, Seulgi and Irene sent me a message telling me their whereabouts. I left the school gates and found them hiding behind some bushes, crouching down with furrowed brows.

"What are you two doing?" I asked, removing a leaf from my hair.

"Shhh," hushed Seulgi hasitly, even though there was absolutely no one around us. She then whispered, "We're waiting for Rose to come out so that we can follow her."

I opened my mouth to say something but Seulgi was too busy peeking through the bushes so I turned towards Irene for a rational explanation but she just shrugged.

"Are you guys sure we aren't going to get arrested?" I slowly asked.

"For what, standing on public property?" smirked Seulgi.

"No, for hiding behind bushes in front of a high school like three creepy pedophiles," I hissed, to which Seulgi rolled her eyes.

"Don't get your panties in a twist."

I held my breath. "You know what, forget it," I mumbled. "You two at least have a plan, right?"

Seulgi and Irene both glanced towards each other before looking back towards me with a blank expression on their faces.

"So we're just going to follow them?" I asked in exasperation and they bobbed their heads simultaneously. "Great, this is going to go perfectly great."

Seulgi gave me a small nudge. "We'll just confront the man she's doing business with," she implied. "You know, scare her off a bit so she doesn't come back and bother Rose."

"Alright, so let's say that that brilliant plan of yours miraculously does work," I said. "Then what?"

"Then what what?"

"Then what do we do?" I insisted in irritation.

"I dunno, we go get pizza or something."

I facepalmed myself knowing that we were doomed.

"Shhh, she's coming!" whispered Irene, lowering both our heads. The three of us peeped through the bushes and watched Rose leave the school. Once she was far enough away from us, we got up and started to follow her. But right before she turned around the corner, she stopped in her steps. Our eyes widened as she started to turn her head.

I quickly jumped behind a car, crouching down to hide myself while Irene and seulgi both hugged each other, hiding their faces against each other's shoulders, looking like two penguins huddling in front of each other in the MIDDLE OF THE SIDEWALK.

I held back a groan at how transparent they were but to my surprise, Rose didn't seem to find the fact that two guys were just hugging each other out of the blue was weird and continued to walk down her path. Once she turned around the next building, I finally got back up.

"Is she gone?" asked Seulgi, her face still dug against Irene's shoulder.

"I-" I paused, taking in a deep breath. "Yes, she's gone."

"Whew, that was a close one," sighed Seulgi as Irene finally let go of her.

"Come on guys, we're losing her," said Irene hastily, quickly walking away. I caught a quick glimpse of her face before she left and saw that her cheeks were flushed bright red.

I shook my head.

Nah, that can't be, it was probably just my mind playing games on me.

"She's right, let's go," I said, pulling Seulgi.

We continued to follow her for about ten minutes or so until she stopped in front of a small café, hiding behind a building as we saw her join a woman.

"Is that her?" whispered Irene, peeking to the side.

"Yeah," I muttered darkly.

"But she looks so...Old," scowled Seulgi, wrinkling her nose as she glared at the woman who looked like she was maybe in her forties.

"Yeah and I bet she's filthy rich," mumbled Irene, looking just as disturbed. rose and the woman started to walk towards the parking lot and we entered the grey building. We tried to move as quietly as we could since the slightest noise would make the loudest echo. They stopped beside a fancy car and the woman gave Rose a present wrapped in pink and white.

"Now what?" whispered Seulgi anxiously.

"What do you mean now what? I thought you were going to confront the woman!" I whispered. Seulgi gave me a sheepish smile.

"I thought that you would have a better plan," she admitted, scratching the nape of her neck.

"We'll tell her that she shouldn't be spoiling a young teenager that she hardly knows," said Irene, who was about to step out. Seulgi quickly grabbed her arm and stopped her.

"Wait, you can't just go up to them," she protested. "We have to think things through first."

"It's a bit too late for that," I implied, siding with Irene. The three of us started to bicker and Seulgi and Irene somehow ended up getting into a bigger argument that turned physcial, so while they were trying to noogie and strangle each other, I was trying my best to keep them apart while trying not to get strangled myself. But apparently, we were making too much noise since we heard the woman speak.

"Who's there?" she demanded. I knew Seulgi was the type of guy to answer "No one" and quickly slapped my hand over her mouth. The three of us stood there, frozen stiff while staring at each other with the same look in our eyes.

What the fudge do we do now?

"Who's there? I know there's someone behind that wall," growled the woman in a more irritated voice. "Rose, I thought you said that you came alone."

"I-I-I did come alone," we heard Rose stutter nervously. "At least, I thought I did."

"Who the hell did you bring with you, you brat?" demanded the woman aggressively.

"I promise, I-" But before Rose could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a thud and a loud wince and I could tell right away that she was pushed to the ground. Something was telling me that I wasn't the only one because Seulgi's jaw tightened at the noise, immediately stepping out and revealing herself.

Irene and I followed her lead and looked towards Rose who was on the ground, her eyes and lips widening in horror as she saw us.

"What are you three doing here?" she whispered in shock.

"Put your hands in the air!" Ordered Seulgi, pulling out a finger gun.

Really?! Out of all the times she could have chosen to look ridiculous, it just had to be now?!

"She hasn't done anything wrong!" Protested Rose. "We only talk, that's it. Well, we talk and skhe sometimes buys me food and clothes, but that's it, I swear. Please don't get the wrong idea."
