My head was heavy, heavy for me to carry throughout the day. The thoughts had taken over me recently and there wasn't a sign for them to leave. I was in year four after all, should I be caring about all of this even? For, future is not in my hands. Dumbledore warned me. He surely did. But it isn't in my control, for I know absolute nothing about it.
Three Broomsticks was now my go to place. Butterbeer was being a pure addiction. I'd always hang here when I'm free. People with suspicious eyes would see such a small girl like me making it a mere habit recently but that was that. It was, afterall, a place to recollect my thoughts, a place to escape from the complicated reality.
Sitting by Olivia, on the wooden chair, as Madam Rosmerta slams two huge glasses of butterbeer on the table. I take a rather small sip, buttery and creamy, it's what I call 'paradise'.
"Where's Diana?" I ask, we had already had two glasses prior to these, waiting for Diana to arrive.
"Library or something." Olivia replies, as I nod in agreement. "She's a found a new young friend, recently."
"Who is it?" I ask.
"Was it Harmony? Or Hermione? Yeah, Hermione it is. She's a second year. I have heard she's smart." Olivia finishes.
"Seems pretty cool, I believe."
"How's Terrance?" Olivia asks as I raise my eyebrows in order to ask her to throw some light on the context of this question. "You know, the whole not-being-a-seeker-anymore thing?"
"Well." I take a sip, "Stuff is not so cool. I have barely talked to him after that situation. For he is never seen in the common room. I've not seen him attending classes anymore and neither does he join us for the meals in the great hall. It's as if he wants to..." I gulp. "disappear."
Olivia sighs, "This is serious. Where would you think he'd even be all the time?"
A memory recalls, as I close my eyes, answering, "By the woods."
