The cold breeze touched our bare faces, pink shades under our skin visible, it was only September, yet it felt so cold.

"Maybe, it's cold inside."

"Inside?" I asked.

"Yeah." Mysha replied, smiling.

Walking into the hallways, my eyes met Terrance who couldn't move his gaze from me. He looked sorrowful, his eyes filled with regret and pain.

"You don't need friends. You need truth."

It echoed inside me, louder than before. I looked away and sat with Mysha at the next table.

"Hey!" Diana came running, smiling widely.

For a moment, I wanted to smile and hold her in my arms again.

But I didn't.

"You didn't answer the letters I sent you." She said, somewhat, in a happier tone, unaware of her actions.

"Am I obliged too?" I responded, with a tone as sharp as the paper cut I got on Tuesday evening.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worried.

"No."

"Do you wanna talk?"

"No."

"Come with us to the lake today evening!! It might cheer you up."

"No."

To every question, my answer remained constant.

"Are you mad at us?"

"No." I lied.

A few minutes later, Mysha signalled her a "leave us alone" and Diana left us with unanswered questions in her mind.

I didn't feel bad for her.

Until I did.

"You both look pretty similar. Are you sisters or something?" A guy with a  Ravenclaw robes and a frog in his hand, said with an unusual tone, pointing at me and Mysha.

"Hmm." Mysha went into deep thoughts, unable to find an accurate reply.

"Hmm." I went into deep thoughts too.
