Pokemon Journeys: Research Professors

Chapter-2

(A/N- From this chapter onwards I will write some of the parts as POV'S{Point of View}so that the story can develop further)

Chloe's POV

"How would you all like to stay at Kalos for a few months?"

Whatever I was expecting this wasn't it. "WHAT?", the three of us screamed. "I said how would you all like to stay at Kalos for a few months?" Dad asked again. I looked at the faces of Ash and Goh and saw that they were wearing shocked expressions similar to mine. "Why?" I asked. I needed to know the reason why Dad suddenly wanted to move us all to another region.

"Well have you ever heard of the Council for Pokemon training and education?"Dad asked. Me and Goh nodded to show that we know the term but Ash looked at dad with a confused expression. "The council for what?" Ash asked. "You see Ash the Council for Pokemon training and education determines the curriculum of all the schools in all the regions. They choose what the students will learn, will see, hear. Whatever the Council tells, all the schools, universities, colleges have to make sure they follow what the Council says. They also regularly inspect the institutions to make sure they are in proper working order" dad informed Ash and he nodded to say that he understood.

"But what does this have to do with us?" Goh asked. "You see the council has introduced a new policy saying that the students should hear first hand experience from people of the same age" he made a pause before continuing, "Now I'm good friends with Professor Sycamore of the Ka-" "Professor Sycamore yeah I know him," Ash said. "How do you know Professor Sycamore?" Goh asked him. "You see when I was travelling through the Kalos region I ran into him a bunch of times" "Isn't he the person whose famous for his research in mega evolution?" I asked him. "Yeah, he is also quite nice and also tends to complement everything with Marvellous!"

 "Your right Ash, Sycamore does use marvellous an awful lot of times" "He is also the principal of the Kalos Academy and when he heard that one of my research fellows is Ash Ketchum, he asked whether you two will be able to come and give the students some experience" "Your kidding! we giving experience to the students of Kalos Academy!" Goh said with wide eyes. 

"Uhh, why is the Kalos Academy such a big deal?" Ash asked eying Goh who was practically wheezing. Seeing that Goh couldn't answer at the moment I answered for him, "The reason why Kalos Academy is such a big deal is that it is one of the most prestigious institutions in the whole world. The students studying there are either super smart or they are given admission based on their performances in various fields." "And we are being called to teach them!" Goh said before jumping up and down in joy.

"So what do you think guys, wanna give it a go?" Das asked. Goh looked like he was ready to go and pack up his bag and leave this instant but Ash asked, "Then what about us being Research Fellows?" "You still will be research fellows and will have to report now and then" "Then we can call ourselves Research Professors!" Goh said while starting to dance with Sobble and Raboot sweatdropped at his trainer's antics.

"So what's your answer?" "YES!" Goh said immediately and Ash looked at Pikachu and asked him, "What do you say buddy? Ready to give it a go?" "Pikachu!" Pikachu said with a determined cry. But I still had one more question to ask.

"So what role do I play?" I asked and Dad smiled before replying "Professor Sycamore has given you admission to the Academy, should you choose to accept it." I was stunned. Me, Chloe, had got an admission to the Kalos Academy! "Why? How?" was all I could muster. "Well your performance in your academics has been quite outstanding and your school is ready to send you as an exchange student."
