Landyn and Riley were both up early and were ready to do all the fun stuff we told them about. Landyn was begging for us to let him go wake Lilly and Mia up. Riley stood by the cabin door with his shoes on, ready to go.

"Daddy what's first?" Riley asked as Ashton and I put coffee in our travel mugs and grabbed the boys sippy cups of milk,

"Monster donuts bub" Ashton laughed. I smiled and handed Ashton my coffee cup and Landyn's sippy cup and helped Landyn get his Crocs on,

"Mommy up?" He whined. I sighed and lifted him to my hip. Ashton handed me back my coffee and handed Landyn his sippy cup, then grabbed his wallet and slid it on his pocket,

"Alright. Let's go boys. Lilly and Mia are already up there" Ashton opened the door.

We got up to he pavilion and I sat down with the boys, Crystal, Sierra, Emma, and the kids. The guys went up to the kids donuts. Riley sat by Emma but Landyn stayed in my lap.

The guys came back and sat a plate with a donut, frosting, and other edible shapes in front of each kid. Let's just say, Landyn didn't do much decorating his donut. He ended up licking the frosting out of the container then ate the donut.

The kids finished their donuts and we cleaned up our stuff to go back to the cabins to hang out outside, but Landyn stopped me,

"What buddy?" I knelt down. Ashton and Riley had stopped too once Ashton saw me,

"Do that?" Landyn pointed to a boy who was painting a ceramic,

"Sure. We can do that" I smiled and looked at Riley, "Riles, do you want to do it too?"

Riley nodded and Ashton told the others to go ahead as we went back to the pavilion and went up to the counter to buy the stuff.

Both Landyn and Riley decided they wanted to paint dinosaurs, so we paid for them and got the paint and sat with them.

Riley was very concentrated on his painting where as Landyn was just kinda doing whatever. Riley had stuck to one color- green. Landyn's looked like he dumped every color on it,

"Good job boys" Ashton complemented. Riley just smiled and kept concentrating. He was doing the same thing Ashton does. When Ashton's concentrating on something, he pokes his tongue out - Riley was doing exactly that,

"Put on fwidge?" Landyn asked, holding his very colorful dinosaur up,

"They can't go on the fridge but we can put them somewhere else" I lightly laughed,

"What if we put them in Mommy and Daddy's office on the shelf?" Ashton suggested. Landyn nodded furiously as Riley finished up.

Ashton went and returned the paint and brushes, then we all went back to the campsite.

The kids were all playing and us adults were sitting outside by the fire Ashton got going. We had a conversation going but I was keeping an eye on Riley. He's been complaining a lot about his heart. We've got him a new doctor and they've been really keeping an eye on things.

Riley started panting and came over and sat on my lap,

"You okay bud?" I asked him,

"Yeah I'm okay" he smiled and listened as Calum talked about this trip him and Emma are taking.

"Riley, are you having fun at school?" Sierra asked, turning all attention to Riley,

"Yeah. I made a new friend" Riley proudly spoke,

"You did! What's your friend's name?" Crystal grinned,

"Blake. He likes Pooh and Tigger too" Riley jumped from my lap, running back off to play again,

"I'm happy he's making good friends" Emma sighed in relief,

"So are we" Ashton and I said at the same time.

It was time for trick or treating, and after an hour of fighting the little kids, we finally had them dressed.

For the camping trip, we decided to have the kids dress together as Winnie the Pooh. Riley is Christopher Robin, Landyn's Pooh, Lilly is Piglet, and Mia's Tigger.

Us moms got our pictures then we all set off with the kids. Riley was helping the three little ones. It's their first time actually trick or treating so they didn't entirely know what to do.

Landyn didn't make it far before he was tired and Ashton had to carry him. Mia and Lilly weren't far behind, but Riley was having a blast. He'd go up and get candy for the other three too.

The three littles were asleep by the time we got back to the cabin, so the dads went and laid them all down. I got Riley changed into pjs then let him cuddle up in my lap by the fire as the dads rejoined us.

"We need to do more trips as a group. Not one where we work either. But little trips like this" Calum spoke up- all of us agreeing,

"The kids love it too" Sierra smiled,

"I'll start planning" Ashton joked, but was honestly serious.

The guys do need a break and I think these little trips help a ton. The guys need time for family too.
