Chapter 1

Nico's POV

"Nico! Get down here!"

I sighed, putting down my laptop and heading downstairs carefully. With that tone coming out from my mother's mouth, it only means one thing.

I'm in some deep schist.

As I entered the dining room, I saw my younger sister, Reyna, eating her lunch. Well, technically, she's adopted so we're not blood related but I still treat her as my real sister.

Back to the topic anyways, in my mother's hand was Reyna's phone and out of curiosity, I went over to take a look. To my surprise, it was a picture of me and Piper hugging.

I tried to keep in my laughter but failed as I burst out into a fit of giggles. Yes, giggles. Don't judge.

"Young man, how could you laugh at a time like this? Do you really think that I'm happy with your irresponsible behaviour?" My mum fumed.

"Mum, chill. That's just Piper. We're really good friends." I assured.

"Then why are you hugging in school? Huh? Shouldn't you be studying?"

"She was just really happy because Jason asked her out. Don't worry. We're not dating or anything." I said.

"Well okay, I'll let it slip this one time. Make sure I don't see any of this again."

I nodded and waited till my mum left before talking to Reyna.

"So, little sis. Where did you get the pic?"

"Oh, Percy sent it to me of course. It was so cute so I showed mum." Reyna smiled.

She better be thankful that I actually love her or I would have thrown something to her head. Anyway, Percy? Wow...didn't know he stalked me. Or not. I don't know.

Also, if you want to know why my mum is really strict about the people I mix around with, is because of three simple rules I have to abide by when it comes to love.

1) No skinship with anyone besides my family until I'm 18.

2) No going on dates during the weekdays and I must be back by 7 p.m. on weekends.

3) Strictly no dating until I'm 18.
