Chapter 3: Force

Mando walked down from the torn up ship to see that You were sitting down and rubbing your ankle

"You were hurt ?"

He walked to you, kneeing down in front of you, and gently taking your foot onto his thigh.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked

"It doesn't hurt as much-"

Mando gave it a slight squeeze and you winced in pain.

"I saw you limping the whole time we were coming back. I was waiting for you to do something like this.

You stood silent... you could feel he was giving you that nagging stare.

"Why have you been walking on this ? It could be broken."

"But your okay that's all that matters."

Mando's heart was racing a bit. He never had anyone care for him so freely. It was completely knew to him. He placed your foot down slowly,

"I'll be fine don't worry.."

Mando just nodded

"I'm glad your okay though! So now what?"

"Going see someone."

*time skip*

"A-aaah I need to take a little break." You mumbled

You kneeled down and rubbed your reddish ankle, which was turning purple slightly.

"Walking barefoot is bad when your ankle is a messed up. We can't afford to stop."

"But I can't walk! Just go on without me I'm slowing- eeek!"

You were lifted up and thrown over his shoulder.

"I-th-MANDI! I don't think this is necessary-"

"It is. We're close by anyways."

You sighed, you watched as the pod followed and you began to make faces at the child, who was amused by it. Once they arrived at Kuiil he set the girl down.

"So this is what caused all the fuss? A child ?"

"And the female."

"Hi ! I'm Y/n Pa-"

Mando covered your mouth.

"She's an asset that talks a lot. Her name is Y/n."

"Pleasure in Kuiil.."

You waved.

"Jawas destroyed my ship."

"Not destroyed they stole."

*time skip*

In the rain, Kuiil rode a Blurrg as Mando and the pod were in the back of the hauling. It was raining and Mando gave you his cape so you could cover yourself but you were really cold

"As long as Baby isn't getting wet that is fine."

Mando didn't answer, you got closer to him, that's when you grabbed his arm.

"Let go."

Then you grabbed his hand, he felt your shaking.

"I'm.... So cold."

Your grip tightened against his hand, but after a couple of minutes it loosened. Mando looked at you and saw you lean forward, that's when he placed a hand out to catch you from falling

"She has fallen asleep. Good, rest my do her good since the rain stopped."!

"Yeah..."
