"She's in the hospital now. It's really bad, guys. Just get here as soon as you can."

"Was that Jack? The septics?"

"Yeah, that was the last group. Hopefully they can help fix this...before it's too late."

"I feel horrible. She didn't deserve this. Look at her. Pale, hooked up to machines, barely clinging to life. She might not make it. And is she doesn't..."

"I know, Ethan. We just have to hold out for as long as possible."

"If you ask me, Amy, she quite well deserved it."

"Dark! What the fuck are you doing here? What the fuck did you do?"

"Temper, temper, Mark. I must say, I'm rather surprised you all seem to care so greatly about our dear author."

"She created us. She gave us a world to live in, and a life to live."

"Are you joking? She didn't create us! We are not figments of her imagination! She took the real us, and put us on a fucking page! She is not all powerful, or kind to us, she just caters to the every whim of strangers. And what cost? Us! Don't you see that? She's right here, dying in front of us, and yet here we stand. We're completely fine. And why is that? Because we are not her characters."

"You're wrong Dark. The us in the real world isn't the same as the people we are here. In a way, she did create us. And those strangers? They aren't strangers to us. Did you even bother to think about what will now happen to who is truly her doing? Look at (Y/n)."

"She's just been sitting there. She's been becoming more transparent by the hour. She can't even speak or hear now. Look at how dull and lifeless she is because of what you caused. The very person each and everyone of us is meant to love is slipping away from us all because you were too stupid to see what was really happening."

"(Y/n)..."

"What? Speechless now?"

"Don't snap at me, Mark! I didn't-"

"You didn't think things through! That's what happened!"

"(Y/n)-"

"You stay away from her! You lost the right to be near her when you destroyed everything. It's not like she can hear you anyways."

"Get out of my way, Tiny!"

"No! Unless you're going to be of some use, get out of here!"

"Ethan, careful he could-"

"I could what? Snap his neck? Stab him? Throw him out this window? Oh the possibilities."

"Let go of me, Dark!"

"How about you-what the hell!"

"(Y/n)!"
"Oh no!"
"Just hold on longer, please!"
"Get her off the ground, and back onto the couch."

"Don't you see the issue here? She's dying! Both of them! You have to fix it. Da-Dark, get back here! Goddammit!"

....͈̳̐͐.͖̊.̛͇͇͉͛̚.̭́.̢̦̖̫̻͗̐͌̚͠.̫̊.̛̻̝̩̘̙̝̾̓̓̇̎͘͢

"Wake up, please! We need you back!"

"Shit, what happened here!"

"Dark happened."

"Fuck, (Y/n)!"

"I know. It's..it's really bad. I don't think we're going to...I think she's just about gone."

"Oh god..."

"Dark, that fucking prick. Where is he now?"

"Who knows."

"I'm right here."

"Oh so now you're here for the party! Why the fuck would you do something so stupid!"

"You watch your tongue, Anti, unless you want me to cut it off."

"I'd like to see you try."

"Look, I'm here to fix things, alright! I couldn't care less about our weak little writer here, but (Y/n)...well, the damn author made me love her too much to let it slip by."

The young author opened her eyes after Darks hand made contact with her forehead. "What the hell?" She muttered. With a burst of life, (Y/n) gasped, taking in as much air as possible. Her form had become corporal again, and her senses had returned as well as the bottom half of her body which had disappeared. And not only her, but any added on characters the author had including. Most of whom being children. A sense of relief and joy flooded the roof. Their author was fine, they were fine, (Y/n) was fine.

"Dark? You tried to kill me!" Dark looked away from the author, eyes gazing over at (Y/n). She refused to return the gesture. "That I did. I suppose you could say I learned my lesson. You have indeed bested me." Dark prepared to take his leave, but the writer had to note one last thing. "I told you it was a mistake. That's okay though. We all do stupid shit." She said with a smirk. He gave a curt nod before exiting the hospital room. (Y/n) rushed forward to tightly hug the writer. The author was more the happy to reciprocate.

"It's okay. You're okay now. We're starting a new chapter now."
