Chapter Fourteen
Aphrodite's POV
She breathed out, her chest lifting up as I watched her eyes become feral. From what I learned no one had enjoyed being challenged especially a wolf, they had pride in themselves regarding their positions and who they were. Watching her walk forward with darkened eyes the area around everyone seemed tense.
I certainly needed to let steam off. The Dragurs, and the possibility of betrayal from William was burning in my head. He had been one of the people I had only learnt to trust. Watching as Lamia breathed, her beautiful thick black hair shining as she moved forward.
Lifting her head, she nodded towards the door. She was gesturing to take this outside, "Luna I do-" Turning towards Nolan she craned her neck with a tilted smile, she needed to release and focus on something else.
Lamia had been a warrior of Braxton's pack, she was a wolf a female warrior and somehow had connections to Braxton. I knew well enough that he had some chemistry I would be a idiot not to know anything about that.
Following the woman outside I took in her beauty as she crossed the field, her long legs toned and muscles perfectly her skin settled with a deep tan, bringing to light her features.
She is beautiful.
Taking a deep breath I crossed the field feeling the eyes on my body as Lamia narrowed her's. She wanted blood. She was tossed like she was a mere object into the wall, I didn't blame her. Instead, I took a deep breath and instead decided to push my emotions aside.
I was frustrated, angry, broken and confused. I simply was tossed into a world I didn't have no way in. My role was suppose to be minor, I was suppose to be exploring. Instead, I'm held down by two men going off a myth.
Everything was happening so quick. It felt unreal from meeting both of the men, learning of Dragus coming back after the long and painful war. I had begin to think that maybe Earth was becoming good, however, it was the worst.
It was simply a battleground.
My eyes narrowed at hers, my eyes focused and narrowed. I was angry so readily angry. I felt exhausted about the problems around me, they weren't mine to solve. My mind was constantly plusing, wanting to know why everything turned out the way it did.
Somehow coming to the hard conclusion I wished I wasn't kicked out of hell, but even I know that was unpreventable. The constant burning flames and long-lasting of the screams that were filled in the hallway of terror, when walking down the famous hall to meet the Almighty Devil.
Despite it being Hell I found it fun, entertaining and always somehow uplifting. The people and relationships I built had been stronger their than in Heaven.
It was a pity. I wanted to be liked by everyone and everything, adapting into their culture, dressing their clothing even tried changing my manner of talking. It was never enough.
"How was Braxton?" The comment seemed to break my thoughts, the glare of her eyes fitting to mine as she she craned her neck. My heart jumped as I heard and felt the emotions of both Siren and Anastasia, both girls riled up.
Feeling my throat tighten I stared at her, she was trying to make me angry anyone could see that. She stepped forward allowing a whiff of her thick pine scent to be filled in my nose.
Crinkling my nose I narrowed my eyes at her, "it's odd isn't it." She paused looking away for a moment, "oh I mean the mole on his inner thigh." I felt the rile of anger pool in my chest and th-
