"I'm sorry to hear that about your dad. In the like nearly two years we were together, shit, anytime your dad was in the hospital for anything you'd be so broken. So lost. Your family is everything to you. I know that. Trav will understand if you just tell him you don't feel up to it. He's an understanding guy, you know that.

"You always act like I'm the super likable one. A lot of people do not like me. You, on the other hand, people love you. Every time we hung out with people, you just lit up the room. Any conversation that got too boring or too quiet you'd perform some fucking CPR shit on it and it always left me in awe. It's like, how can one girl out of so many people be so good with people? You were destined to entertain people in some way.

"Logan and I have an ongoing conversation like yours and Jack's soulmate one. About destiny and fate. That some things are written in the stars to happen. It started one time when we were high and just spewing bullshit, bouncing off of each other. But this one was different, it translated over to being talked about even when sober. We tried figuring out what in our lives could be destiny.

"He knows about the voicemails, by the way. And recently he brought that up. That we're destined to be together. That's why we're coming back to each other. I think he's got a point.

"I miss when we had convos with each other like that. There was that time not too long after we got together, we were coming back from some time at the skatepark trying to teach you some tricks. And we had some stupid argument about whether or not fish would be scary on land. Your argument was frogs, that they were like fish that can go on land. And I countered that imagine a fucking whale or a shark on land coming at you. And you, you smartass, was all like 'Whales are mammals." So I let you win that one. I'll let you win any future one too if it means we're together. I love you, Della."
