Stories are wild, wild animals that go off in directions you can never expect. For example, when a teenager's life seems to be at its lowest of lows, they can go to school the next day and find out they passed a test they studied really hard for, or their crush confesses their love to them. Of course, this doesn't mean it will always be a good direction. These seven strangers I'm about to introduce are the perfect example of that.

First, we start in Aldton Avenue, where the first of the seven was taken. Teddi Clark was on her way to the grocery store to pick up dinner. Her parents never cooked dinner since they were always at work early in the morning until late at night, sometimes they could be away for days or even weeks. She had short hair, shaved on the side, and had recently dyed it bright red with black streaks. Her deep red eyes shone in the streetlamps' yellow glare. Her nose ring glimmered as she walked past the grocery store's bright neon 'open' sign. "Hello Teddi, parents still out are they?" The cashier asked, knowing her quite well as she comes in every night. "Yeah still gone Dave, they're coming back next week though. How's Mrs. Hodges?" Teddi asked. "Oh yeah, Mum's feeling a lot better since she came back from the hospital." The cashier, Dave, replied.

Once Teddi bought her food and bid farewell and good fortune to the cashier, she went on her way back home. As she turned the corner, she noticed she was being followed by a white van with a single gold-rimmed wheel and a large dent in the rusted passenger door. She started turning down random streets to make sure she was actually being followed and wasn't just overreacting, but sure enough, whichever way she turned, a couple of meters behind her, so did the van. Teddiquickened her pace and  turned down a darkened alleyway, knowing the car wouldn't fit down there. She saw the van drive past and tried to calm herself down. Just before she reached the end of the alleyway, the gold-rimmed vehicle pulled up in front of her, tires screeching. Her eyes widened and she quickly spun on her heels to run the other way when she was abruptly stopped by running into what felt like a stone wall and falling onto the ground, her surroundings going dark.

Unbeknownst to her, or to anyone of that matter, this would happen again, six more times, with six other random teenagers.

This is the author, thank you so much for reading this when you could have chosen to read something else, I know this chapter was really short but I promise they will definitely get longer, possibly up to 1k+ words (if I have the energy). I don't have a definite updating schedule, but I will update. I definitely will finish this story.
