The group slowly but surely made space between themselves and the monster. Dale had started to gain strength as he got used to walking but still needed support which had rotated back to Jesse helping him with while Gwen held his backpack with Teddi walking beside her and Jesse and Dale in the lead. The four were having separate conversations with each other. Gwen and Teddi were telling each other about their lives before the maze while Dale and Jesse were talking about their favourite things. There was a light and playful energy in the air.
"I reckon Led Zeppelin is pretty good, but their song Highway to Heaven sucks." Dale concluded about his favourite band. "Oh yeah? Well what about their songs you do like then hm?" Jesse laughed at how Dale only mentioned their bad songs. "Immigrant Song and Moby Dick are cool. I'd say they're probably my favourite songs be Led Zeppelin anyway.", "You sure you don't like Moby Dick because it has the word di-", "SHUT UP!" The two laughed at their childish bickering.
The girls were laughing about something Gwen had said when they boys decided to join their conversation. "Guys, Gwen was just telling me about this one time a girl thought she was a guy and started hitting on her!" Dale and Jesse laughed along with Teddi. "Not that I cared though, she was hot." Gwen stated. The three looked at her in shock, they didn't realise she liked girls. There was some hope for Teddi yet. "What? I'm bisexual. If any of you have a problem with that you can take it up with my fists." Gwen stated with an evil smile.
"Well I clearly don't have a problem, I'm definitely not straight, but if you don't already know, I'm a lesbian." Teddi stated. "You guys probably didn't know this, Jesse does because we were talking about it when he first joined us, but I'm gay." Dale said with a nervous smile. Teddi and Gwen smiled widely. Gwen swung her arm around him, "Welcome to the weirdest community of society ever. You'll love it!" She said. "Well I feel like I kind of have to say this now since you all came out, I'm bisexual." Jesse said with a dopey grin. The whole group laughed and continued walking, talking about everything and nothing all at once.

"We should take a break, eat some food. You should rest for sure Dale, you've walked the equivalent of three times as much as us, considering your injuries." Jesse stated, once again solidifying the fact that he is smarter than the average 18 year old. "Yeah ok." The girls replied and Jesse gently placed Dale against the wall and sat down next to him. Gwen passed his backpack over to him and they all started eating on their snacks.
Jesse was just about to bite into his apple when a group of three teenagers sprinted around the corner and stopped suddenly at the sight of the four. The four dropped their food and stood up quickly, except Dale who struggled standing up in general. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Teddi shouted. The three were all boys, one with short blond hair, bright green eyes and very tall, one boy considerably shorter then the blond with light wavy, brown hair and yellow eyes and the last boy had slightly longer black straight hair, around the same height as the blondie, with red eyes matching Teddi's. The blondie and brunette wore shocked faces while the black haired boy just glared at them.
The blond stood forward and gave a warm smile, " My name is Michael Edwards, you can call me Mickey, this is Owen Cook," He gestured to the short brunette who had a shy smile on his face and gave a small wave, "and this.. is Finley Butler." Mickey finished in a disappointed tone, obviously not a fan of Finley. "You can just call me Fin. The real question though is, who are you?" Fin interrogated, he had a suspicious tone in his voice that Jesse didn't like. "And what's with Cripple over here?" Fin pointed at Dale who seemed shocked at the nickname. Jesse snapped, he passed Dale to Gwen and stomped over to Fin and decked him square in the nose.
Teddi wasn't far behind him and kicked Fin in the nads. "'Cripple' over here has a name and it's Dale and I'll let you know that Dale is the nicest person I've ever met so say one more thing about him like that and I'll do more then just break your nose got it you pompous dickhead!" Jesse shouted at the boy who was now on his knees. "I'll do far worse than just kick you in the dick too you asshole!" Teddi added thinking of plenty other things she could do to him.
Mickey looked at Fin's hunched over body and laughed, "I've wanted to do that to him for a long time." He said. "Y-you dick, you're taking their s-side?!" Fin glared at Mickey then continued groaning in pain on the floor. Owen went to help him up but was just swatted away, "I don't need your help Shorty!" Fin snapped at him and slowly stood up. "Who's the cripple now!" Dale shouted at Fin as he and Gwen made their way over. Fin glared at him even harder. "Oof, glare any harder and your face'll stick." Teddi laughed. "Anyways, I think we got off on the wrong foot here, My name is Teddi Clark, this is Jesse Campbell, Gwen Stewart and Dale Jenkins." She said, introducing them and pointing each.
Mickey laughed, "Oh no, we didn't get off on the wrong foot, that was quite entertaining actually, I'm guessing you guys already know how we got here." He held up his backpack with a smile. "Yeah I think we have a good idea, have you met our kidnapper through those holograms too?" Gwen asked, already knowing the answer. "Yeah that Prick will get what's coming to him." Fin said with an evil grin. "Finally something we can agree on!" Mickey said sarcastically. "Shut its Mickey Mouse." Fin grumbled.
This was really fun to write. That's all of the teenagers that were kidnapped because I said 7 and now there's 7. I told you I had big plans for this chapter and look! I introduced three new characters! Look at me go! 9 whole chapters in the span of 5 days when I had school too. I'm on a role. Anyways,
