"You know, I don't understand it. Jesse is practically in love with Dale, hell, he probably is! Why doesn't he want to go help save him?" Gwen asked, not particularly to anyone. "I mean, the two have been pretty much inseparable since they first met! Dale trusted almost as soon as he joined our group too! Jesse has no good reason as to why he left." She concluded her little rant to herself with a nod.
"Ugh, Gwen! Shut up! I know Jesse's a prick for not coming with us, I know Dale and Jesse are big time in love, hell we ALL know about it since you've been talking about it non-stop for the past 5 hours!" Teddi shouted in frustration. She was pissed off enough as it was since Jesse, Fin and Owen left and since Dale was kidnapped but with Gwen's rambling and Mickey's constant, suffocating optimism, she was about to lose it.
Gwen and Mickey just sighed, knowing how annoying the whole situation was. "Let's just set up camp here for the night ok? It's been a long day and it's probably going to be a long night too, so we may as well rest." Mickey suggested. "I'll take first watch, Gwen, you can take second." He added, beginning to set up.

Luther had just finished another round of beating Dale to a pulp. Dale was now strapped to the electric chair again, where he had slept the night before. Are they even looking for me? It feels like it's been weeks in here! Luther rolled up his white suit's sleeves to his elbows, revealing his slimy, silhouette-like forearms. His long, spider-like fingers wrapped around the handle that controls the voltage. He pushed the lever up to half it's max. Dale let out a piercing scream. All he could do was hope that the others were looking for him and would save him.

3 weeks. That's how long it had been. 3 weeks since Dale was taken. 3 weeks since the group split up. And 3 weeks of torture for Dale.
"DALE! WHERE ARE YOU!" Teddi's voice cracked at the last word. They had all been walking for three weeks with almost no sleep. "Where's Jesse? Surely we would have run into them by now! I don't care if Jesse was a prick! Hell, I don't even care that Fin was an asshole! I just hope they're ok!" Teddi had given up all hope on finding him and was just aimlessly shouting into an empty air. Mickey and Gwen had also given up and were just following Teddi's random twists and turns in the maze.
"Ok enough is enough." Mickey stopped walking and sighed. "We need sleep. We can't save Dale with no energy. We're taking a break, eating some food, drinking some water and getting some sleep." He stated rather then suggested, with a sense of finality throughout his tone. "What? But it's the middle of the day!" Gwen replied. "I don't care. You are both going to sleep right now. You both look like crap.", "Oh thanks Mick, I knew I looked peachy." Teddi retorted in a sarcastic tone.
Mickey rubbed his temples in tiresome frustration. "Shut up and get your asses to sleep. Now. Don't make me force you guys." He said with a forced smile, venom laced through his voice. Teddi and Gwen sighed as they both began to set up their sleeping bags, not bothering to make the tents. "Good." Mickey said, sitting down, leaning against the wall to relax and keep watch.

Owen slammed into a wall as he rounded yet another corner. The three were being chased by another small-time monster. It was small, about knee high, kind of like half a human being. It was only legs and hips, seemingly ripped off of the other half considering the jagged top. It had ripped and torn jeans on and a thin leather belt. Although it didn't have a top half to control it or even see where it was going, it seemed to know where to go anyway.
Although it probably couldn't hurt them very much, they were still sprinting away from it at full speed. It was really creepy. It had a sort of limp, so when it ran, it was more of a clumsy gallop that was sure to haunt the three for the rest of their lives. In general the whole creature was just terrifying. Harmless, but terrifying.
"When will this thing run out of juice!?" Fin shouted, running out of breath. "Just keep going!" Jesse replied, helping Owen get back up to speed, while still sprinting himself. The soles of their shoes were beginning to wear since this was only one of the very many creatures they had encountered.
One was like a small hooded girl, but seemingly without a face or body, just a cloak and legs. Another was a bunch of slimy puke, green-yellow coloured ghosts that seemed to have a constant sad moaning face plastered on. Overall, they had run into a lot of other monsters.
Eventually they managed to lose the monster-legs and took a long breather. They were all breathing heavy when, "Shhhh." Jesse quickly hushed the group. He wasn't sure if what he had heard was true. He both hoped it was but also hoped it wasn't. "What?" Owen asked, "I said shhhh!" Jesse repeated. There it was again. Unmistakable. The other two heard it too.
"W-was that.." Fin began but was interrupted by Jesse. "I-I think t was.", "Holy shit!" They heard it again, this time longer and much, much clearer. "Oh my god." Was all Owen could say, going pale.
What they could hear was Dale's blood-curdling screams.
Oooof. Another cliffhanger. I love writing cliffhangers. Hahahahaha. I know this chapter was much shorter then the others but I wanted to update this today and I'm going to be really busy later and probably won't have time to update for the rest of the day. This chapter was pretty fun to write. I managed to write it in the span of only like 5 hours sooo. Yay me. Also it's my birthday today too so, Happy Birthday to me! Hell yeah. Anyways,
