Teddi felt something almost ice cold on her cheek as she came to. She slowly opened her eyes, adjusting them to the dim light. She saw that she was laying on what seemed to be a large slab of cobblestone with ivy growing out of cracks in the ground. Teddi sat up quickly in shock as she realized that she had no idea where she was. As she sat up she saw more of her surroundings. She was in, what looked like, a large maze.

The cobblestone walls were reaching well over 100 meters high, with vines of ivy climbing just as tall. She tried to see if she could climb the ivy so she could get a better idea of where she was, but it was no use, the vines were too weak. After just one light tug, the plants gave out. She tried again and again and again, but still nothing. She had no chance of scaling up the walls even if the vines were strong enough, no one could do that. Panic started to set in as the reality of the situation hit her like a tidal wave.

-

A while later, the sun had been long set and it was well into the night. Teddi had found a backpack next to where she woke up with food such as apples, peanuts and other hiking type snacks, along with bottles of water, a sleeping bag, a tent and a couple of weapons, knives mainly. She didn't like how she was given weapons, it made her wonder what would be so dangerous in this maze that even her captor had felt the need to apply her with such things. She didn't like the thought very much and pushed it away.

-

Teddi started to get annoyed as she had been walking for what felt like days now. She was running low on food and water supplies and was starting to worry if that was all she was going to be given. All of a sudden she started hearing noises, "click. Brrrr," mechanic noises began erupting from the left wall. She backed away quickly until she was directly opposite the noise. "What the-?" She began to think, but was interrupted when a hologram of a tall and slender man in a red and black three-piece suit and ominous mask appeared.

"Hello young lady! I know you must be curious about where you are and what is going on but all in due time I assure you. My name is Linwood Hughes, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I am the creator of this place, I am also the reason you are here. This is a test. You will fight, you may die fighting, you may live, who knows. But trust me when I say if you live, you will be rewarded handsomely. I must go now but you will see me again I promise. Goodbye!" Her captor, Linwood, informed. "You can take your promise and shove it up you ass!" Teddi replied as he disappeared. "- promise. Goodbye!"  She heard Linwood say a couple of passages away from where she was. "What the-?" She whipped a dagger out of her bag and started creeping toward where she heard the noise. "Oh yeah!? Well, screw you!" She heard another girl shout. Teddi paused, then started walking faster towards where she heard the noise.

As she turned the final corner she saw a girl around the same age as her, 17, picking up a bag, identical to hers, with beautiful brown, mid-length, wavy hair and bright green eyes."Holy shit she's perfect." Teddi thought, it was no secret that she was a lesbian. The other girl seemed to notice her as she looked her right in the eye and gasped. "Who are you?!" The mystery girl shouted, almost afraid of Teddi. "Woah, woah, chill out! My name's Teddi Clark! I was abducted and woke up here a couple of days ago. I just saw a hologram of a guy named Linwood, I think he's our captor, I heard your hologram too and decided to check it out and found you!" Teddi exclaimed as quickly as possibly, before she could get stabbed by this girl.

"Oh, sorry, just a little jumpy I guess. I saw that we were given these knives and didn't know what was out here." She said. Teddi laughed at that, relief washing over her. "Ok, well then mystery girl, wanna stick together and try and find the exit to this dump?" She asked. "Mystery girl?", "Yeah, I don't know your name, so Mystery girl." Teddi replied with a goofy smile. "Oh, my name is Gwen, Gwen Stewart. And yeah let's stick together." She said with a laugh. "Gwen. Huh, I like it." Teddi thought to herself, and started walking again, this time with a new friend by her side.
