When I woke up, it was 8:05am the first day of holidays. I yawned while looking around my room and looked again at the tidy mess which I saw yesterday night. Finally I decided to tidy it up a bit after getting fresh. I went into the restroom, brushed my teeth while listening songs. As I didn't took a bath since day before yesterday I went into the shower and cleaned my body. Suddenly the song "Little Things" by The Line came, and it remembered me of Cole, well I started to tear up a little, but the hot water washed it away simultaneously. When I got out, I threw on a plain back tank top and white denim shorts and tied up my wet hair into a bun. And now I was ready to clean up the mess!
When I was cleaning, I dusted the book shelves, sweepeD the floor, tidied up the things on my table, made my bed and kept my laundry at a side.
While I was redusting the shelves a small diary fell out, with the title "My Diary 1999" and on the back was another one stocked together which read " My Diary 2010", I had no idea where the others went but yeah, 2010 was the year Cole left for X-Factor Auditions. Curiosity got the best of me, though it was mine but I didn’t wanted to open it, but when I did I saw a signature that said "Cole", then I remembered straight away, in 1999, Cole and I brought the diary together and promised to write in it every single day. Well I guess I broke my promise for not buying and writing one. But so did Cole. He promised that we would be friends forever, but we barely know each other now.
I shut the diary the second I saw Cole's Signature, it wasn’t very nice, well maybe because we were only six years old, now probably has another much more cooler one now. I placed the memories carefully back on my shelf and continued dusting. Right when I was done I heard mum shouting from downstairs Honey comedown and have some breakfast!"
"Be there in a moment" replied in the same way. As I was walking down the stairs I saw my lillt sister was bust watching The Line performance on TV, she was only seven years old and was already in love with them! But she didn’t know I was once very close one of the band members....
As I sat down at the table to eat my cereal, because I liked something fresh in the morning, I watched The Line performance on X-Factor again on the TV, I quickly looked away when Cole sang his part, it’s like he just keeps on getting better and better, which I am supposed to be happy for, but it is totally the opposite. After their performance was over, this man interviewed them, and they said that they are gonna have a talk show in Ireland I nearly spitted out my food. Then they all looked at Cole knowing he was born there. Once my sister heard about it, she went from listening to closely mad!
After a few minutes, my mom got her to pipe down and asked what’s wrong “t-th-the l-lli-line” she said twitching softly, my mom couldn’t hear her at first, so she went closer to her “whats that honey??” my mom asked, “THEEE LINEEEE” my sister shouted right in my mom’s ear “Geej what happened to The Line?”, I told my mom : “Belle loves The Line and they are coming to Ireland for a talk show, she wants to go, mom “ then immediately replied, “how much is it?” opening her laptop. We searched TL talk show in Ireland. “ Its 35Eauro each, you should book soon before it gets packed with people and it might be too late”
“Okay I will do it later” My sissy went even hyper and ran like a crazy monkey! Then my mum said “Don’t make me change my mind” annoyed, my sis zipped up immediately.
“Mum I am going to Kasey’s” I told mum.
“Okay but be back before 5”
I sprinted up to my room and changed into a crop top, blue jeans, a pair of red sneakers and a beanie. I quickly grabbed my phone and slipped my phone back into my pocket. My best friend’s house was a huge flat; it could be anyone’s dream house . while I was walking down the street, I saw posters of The Line on the wall of every corner, and a bunch of girls were crowded around it. I just rolled my eyes and continued to ignore them.
When I reached Kasey’s house, I rang the door bell, when her mum opened the door and I said
“hi Mrs. Helen I am looking for Kasey”
“hi Michelle, come on in and make yourself comfortable I will just call her” she said as she motioned me to come in. she walked over to this control thingy and pressed a botton and said “Kasey come down Mich is here!” then the reply came from the same instrument “cominggg mom!”
When she was able to see me she yelled “ MICHELLLEEEE” as she ran in for an embrace.
“ I haven’t seen you in like forever “ she said worried.
“ummm, Kasey? I was just 2 days ago!”
“Hey! I used to see you every day!” she reminded me of Cole…. “What’s wrong?”
Then I just realized I was staring at the ground the whole time. “Oh no, I am f-fine”
“I am fine is the biggest girl lie sisterrrrrr” she said like an overly attached friend. “not for me I am really fine but you are not, wait… follow me “ as we got up to her bedroom I saw all the The Line posters on the wall and remembered how much Kasey loves The Line, so I tried to ignore it and I sat on her bed and she asked “ so tell me all about it.”
“well I could tell you that Belle is going to the The Line talk show in Ireland”
“ohh have you brought the tickets”
“ I am not sure mum said she will get them later on”
“ call her right now and tell her not to.”
“why???” I replied shockingly! I took out my phone from my pocket.
“My dad works for the company that’s gonna sponcer them for coming so we can have free tickets and passes to them and hang out with them for a day!!” she said excitedly.
I immediately dialed my mum’s number and on three beebs she picked up “ Hello sweetie?”
“yeah mom, you don’t need to buy the tickets anymore, Kasey’s dad has free passes for the talk show and, meeting then and hang out for a day”
“okay get us two passes then.”
“sure… Bye”
“bye” and the line went dead.
After this talk I told Kasey to get 2 passes and she went to the control thingy on her wall and said “ Dad please help Mich and her family to get two passes for the The Line talk show.”
A reply came back “ Sure, Kas I will contact my agency”
“thanks Dad”
Well that was simple!
