Paula's POV

I calmed myself down, finished my breakfast and headed back to the bedroom. Marco and Mason were already dressing up. I shot them a confused look as they both turned to me.

"Change your clothes. We're meeting Ian." Marco told me as he resumed buttoning up his shirt.

"What?" I asked him.

"I can't fucking bear to see you this way, love. Take it out on him now. Release everything," Mason came close to me, tucked my hair behind my ear, and cupped my face. I naturally leaned into his touch.

"Y-you heard me?" My eyes glistening with tears.

"No, but the moment I woke and you were gone by our side, I checked the cameras around the house on my phone and I saw you, reading his file on the kitchen island." He murmured softly against my ear and planted soft wet kisses under my ear.

"And that file doesn't entail everything, I know you still have a lot of questions bugging your mind and only him can answer the rest," Marco went behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

I leaned into their warms touches and let a single tear fall. Mason took the liberty to wipe it off and kissed my damp cheek.

"We're here for you. Now, change," he smiled softly at me.

The moment I stepped out of the car, a shiver traced through me. I was nervous to see him again. I made up in my mind the things I wanted to say to him but I was too nervous.

Marco seemed to have read my mind and pulled me by my waist close to him, "we're gonna be with you all the time." He assured me then kissed my forehead. We all walked to the warehouse. The old warehouse looked like it has been abandoned for quite some time now.

Before we walked through the door, Mason blocked the doorway and reminded me, "don't be fooled by how he looked. He deserves far worse." He and Marco were now looking like they were ready to kill whoever's on the other side of the door. In this particular case, Ian.

They both let me in first and they followed. Mark locked the door and bring on the only light in the room. It was a spotlight in the middle of the room where a man sat on a steel chair all tied up. The steel mechanical bands around his wrist, his chest and his ankles were secured by a control panel at the other corner of the room. His wrist and ankles were wounded by the edges of the steel bands.

I gasped as my hands instantly came to my mouth. Marco's grasp on my waist grew tighter.

"What did you do?" I asked them while I watched Ian carefully.

"Not nearly enough in my opinion," Marco answered.

"I-I want to talk to him, please," I stammered as my tears formed around my eyes.

Mason turned to Mark and ordered, "wake him up." Mark didn't waste any second and grabbed a bucket of water and splashed it onto Ian, which shocked him awake. Must be the cold water. Oh god, it's so fucking difficult to be mad at him when he's looking like this.

My poor baby.

'No, he's not your baby anymore.' I battled with myself.

He looked at the twins who just walked into the light and instantly became terrified. His head shook sideways, his jaw trembled and was about to scream.

"Someone wanted to talk to you," Marco told him. Ian just shook his head in terror of the twins. They badly terrified him for his life.

I stepped into the light as a single tear ran down my cheek.
