*MYLES*
He walked over as I stood up, Amelia followed. I heard people whispering and howling like hyenas in the background. He stood over me as his green eyes blazed. He looked eager and willing to do this, now I'm confused if he is bisexual. I swallowed hard as he glanced at Amelia.
"I hope you don't mind me kissing your boyfriend."
She chuckled. "Actually, he's just my friend."
He quickly glanced at me as I saw a faint smirk form on his lips.
"We'll talk later Amelia," he told her.
My body tingle as I felt relaxed. His green eyes had hues of a forest, an earthy green that had an intense flame. A green flame that was ready to consume me. "Let's get this over with," he said as he quickly leaned into me and his lips touched mine.
In those seconds that his lips touched mine, my heart jolted inside my glass heart. His lips moved and my heart jolted again, it was like I was being brought back to life again. Time stood still in what felt like hours but it was maybe a minute. He pulled away as I never opened my eyes. I was caught in a trance as my body felt a warmth I hadn't felt in so long.
My heart pumped like lava bursting out of a volcano but my glass shield was still thick and impenetrable. The thick emotion of lava stayed stuck in my heart but I felt alive like I used to, a year ago before I let my soul go into a black hole of emptiness, a void of no return.
I could hear chuckles and giggles. I slowly opened my eyes as Atticus looked down at me with a handsome smirk, damn you with that smile. "You ok?" he asked as his eye was now a bright green.
Words were stuck in my throat. I couldn't say anything. My body was relaxed but I felt my anxiety building. I glanced around as everyone stared at me, waiting for me to say something.
"Well, well, well. I never thought Atticus Stone would be kissing a guy," I heard a sweet voice coming from behind me.
A beautiful blonde with piercing blue eyes came walking into the group. She was tall and her body was like a goddess. Her hair cascading down almost to her waist. She wore minimal makeup but her skin radiated flawlessness. She had the perfect tan, not fake at all. Her full lips perked out as she stood in between us.
"Hi, my name is Harper Flint," she quickly introduced herself.
"Myles," I simply said. I want to take a wild guess that this is some sort of ex of Atticus. I feel some tension between them.
Atticus kept his glare at her as she turned to him, everyone seemed to have silenced when she appeared.
"Pleasure," she turned to Atticus.
"I need to talk to you," she grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the crowd. They disappeared as all eyes were on me again.
"I'm not up for this anymore," I stormed out of the crowd and towards the back. I felt I was walking sideways as I saw an open door. I made my way outside. There was a patio with people sitting on couches and standing around drinking then there was a huge yard with a couple of couches set up on the grass, one couch had some umbrella set up over it. I made my way to that couch. I sat down as I felt my head going into vertigo. Those two drinks are hitting me right now.
