*MYLES*
Summer was almost over and Nathan was slowly coming back to himself, he would get out more and be more talkative. He had a limp when he walked but the therapist said he would slowly heal. The therapist also told him that he would most likely not be able to do gymnastics no more. Nathan cried but thankfully got over it quick.
It was a beautiful night as the lights beamed brightly in downtown San Francisco. It was pretty cold as the fall chills were slowly creeping on the horizon. I glanced up and saw the stars dazzle in every fluorescent shade of pink, blue, and yellow. Chance grasped my hand as he pulled me like a little kid. "Babe, come on, we are going to be late for the next showing of Endgame."
I glanced behind me as Nathan walked by himself. He smirked at me as he tried to keep up. "I'm ok, Myles, just get to the ticket booth. I'll be right behind."
I felt bad for walking so fast. Chance winked at me as he let go of my hand and ran to buy our tickets. I stayed behind with Nathan. "Myles, come on. I'm not a little kid," he said joking but I know deep inside he likes being independent. He doesn't like everyone asking him "are you ok?" or "how is your ankle?". He just doesn't like being babied.
"And you need to start smiling more," I wrapped my arm around his neck as he laughed.
"Thanks, Myles. Your the best brother I have and I love you," I kissed him on the cheek as Chance had bought our tickets. I got closer as I pecked him on the lips.
"You're so sexy when you take charge," he smirked at me when I heard a couple of guys laughing.
"Dude that's gross," I heard them say but I ignored it.
"What did you say?" I heard Nathan hiss at them.
One of the guys came up to Nathan and got in his face. You could tell he was a jock. Tall, dark hair, muscular build, and pretty intimidating if you ask me.
"That it's fucken gross to see to guys kissing, that's what I said."
I bolted near Nathan. "Nate, come on. It's not worth it," I tugged on his jacket but Nathan didn't budge. If anyone messes with me, Nathan doesn't give a damn how tall or built they are. He is going to knock some sense into them. Chance came next to us.
"Yeah, listen to your gay brother."
All I saw was Nathan swing at this guy's face but he didn't even move. He held his cheek and smirked. His little group of friends started instigating and they went "Oooo".
This guy pushed Nathan on the floor and slammed his foot on his ankle. Nathan yelled as I saw Chance swing at this guy. I saw the local security running towards us and the group of guys left running. I kneeled next to Nathan as he held his ankle. His face was red as he tried to catch his breath. "We can leave if your ankle hurts."
"I'm fine, thankfully it wasn't my injured ankle but fuck that hurt either way."
"You ok, young man," the security kneeled next to me.
"Yes, thank you," Nathan tried to get up but he struggled. I helped him get up as Chance approached us.
"They ran around that corner but I lost them," he was trying to catch his breath as I gripped his hand.
