*MYLES*
I opened my eyes and it was still dark. I could hear a gentle snore behind me as his body warmed me. I felt his arms wrapped around my waist and I couldn't help but smile. I moved so I wouldn't disturb him but that was a fail. He groaned and stretched. "Damn, what time is it?" He said as I sat up, the room was pretty empty with only a desk and chair on one side. A drawer by the door and the bed. I glanced to see if there was a lamp but no lamp or small table whatsoever.
I rubbed my eyes as I glanced over at him. I saw his glowing green eyes gazing at me. "I'm not sure but we should go."
"But I was sleeping so comfortably," he pulled me down on the bed as I couldn't help but laugh. "And he laughs," he pulled me closer to him and warmed me up.
"What happened Myles? Earlier?" He asked and my body froze. He pulled me even closer to him. "No, you're going to tell me what happened," his voice was serious when he whispered in my ear.
"Can we just leave here, I'd rather not talk about it in a stranger's house?"
"Of course."
We got out of bed and noticed the frat party was over. I glanced at my watch and saw it was 3 in the morning. "Woah, we've been out for a while."
He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck. "Let's go so we can cuddle again," his words were an antidote for the black poison coursing through my blood, he was slowly freeing me but I need to keep my guard up. But can I, that was the question?
We left the frat house as we saw a couple of people dead asleep on the couch. We tiptoed out of the house. "Would you like to go back to my place?" I asked knowing well he would say yes.
"Of course."
We got to my house and quietly made our way into my room. My parents were home so I didn't want to wake them. We finally got into my dark dungeon as I quickly went to the closet and flicked on the light.
"I've noticed the last couple of times that you keep your light on, why is that?" He asked.
"I'm afraid of the dark. I know it's a bit childish but ever since Nathan passed, the darkness always terrified me."
"Shit, now I get why you passed out in the basement."
"Yeah but I'd rather not talk about it. I'm pretty sleepy."
I got dressed into something more comfortable. I rummaged through my closet again and handed him some clothes but he refused. "I've already taken enough clothes from you and it's kind of tight," he chuckled. "I'll sleep in my underwear."
I noticed a smirk on his face as he took off his jeans and jacket. He stayed in his black boxer briefs and black v neck. I crawled into my bed as I made room for him to squeeze in. "Wait, let me do something," he walked to the closet and turned off the light."
My room had a dark silence that made me uncomfortable. I only heard his feet shuffle as he sat on the edge of the bed and then he laid down. "Come here," he pulled me on top of him.
My body was tense as I tried to adjust to the darkness. "Just relax, Myles. I'm here," his voice is what I needed. I took a deep breath and laid on top of his hard chest. I heard his heart beat faster.
"Nervous?" I asked.
"Sort of."
"Don't be."
"Ok."
He kissed the top of my forehead as his warmth started to melt me. My body relaxed as my eyes got heavy. "Goodnight," I said.
"Goodnight."
