Rowan BaileyI get to the Slytherin common room, it's a low ceilinged, dungeon-like room with greenish lamps and chairs. It's located in the dungeons, behind an apparently blank stretch wall. You could even see part of the lake from the windows.
I place everything on the floor and flop down on the hard, black, shiny couch, and let out a short but soft giggle. Not everything is so serious.
"Got here late?" I look up and see Draco coming down from the boy's dormitory.
I get up on my elbows and shoot him a confused look, "Why aren't you at dinner?"
"I- I was-" he clears his throat, "I was just waiting for you." He stuttered to say, looking down at me.
"Go ahead." I put my hand out to the door, "I'm not hungry."
I lay fully back and turn, feeling my body slowly fall asleep. The couch deepens seeing Draco laying next to me facing the ceiling with his eyes close.
he sighs, "I'm not hungry either."
There're always two sides to Draco Malfoy, he could be a complete douche or he could genuinely be a nice person. Few people see that side of him, that's the only side I really rarely ever see.
His platinum blonde hair laid over his forehead while his pale face relaxed, I couldn't stop but watch, I never see him relaxed. His face was always frowning at every little thing. That doesn't go his way.
I move his platinum blonde hair out of his peaceful sleeping face.
He opens his eyes and looks at me while I'm already watching him. His green eyes were the only green color I liked, but I never told him that.
He sighs again and puts his arm around me, pulling me close to him.
My hand laid on his chest as my forehead rest on his neck, his finger draws shapes and swirls on my back; he knew I liked that.
I feel his heart beating faster and faster in his every breath.
We stay there, trying to fall asleep.
"Thank you, Draco," I say lowly, breaking the silence.
"For what?" He whisperers in my ear.
"For this," I pause, "I needed this." I have felt much comfort in a while, I'm glad I have Draco as a friend.
I slowly move my hand up to his neck, rubbing my thumb up and down. His skin was soft at my touch.
I couldn't see him, but I could feel him smiling.

I wake up to noise all around the common room, I look up as I flutter my eyelashes and see Blaise, "Aw." he was watching me.
I look to see I'm still on Draco. He was still peacefully sleeping, but not for long. I grab his arm that was around me off and push him to the floor.
"Dam Rowan," Blaise chuckles, yet in shock.
Draco sits up and rubs his eyes, "Hey!" he looks at Lena this time.
"She doesn't need a jerk," Lena walks towards us, "she knows better than that." she winks at me as her arms were crossed.
"Hey!" Draco says again.
I sit up and look at Draco, "Oops." I chuckle.
"You're lucky I like you." Draco stands up and dusts himself off.
