Kenma's POV

I woke up uncharacteristically early, around 5 am, why? Mostly because the pain in my knee was unbearable. I must've hit it in my sleep or something because it didn't hurt this bad when I went to bed. I tried to just fall back asleep but at this point the pain was keeping me away and there was no way I'd be able to wobble into the kitchen for an ice pack. So instead I just laid on my bed, staring at my ceiling, thinking about absolute nothing yet everything at the same time. My thoughts were beginning to focus around a certain bedhead who'd been watching me skate recently.

Honestly, Kuroo still confused me a lot. I don't really get him at all, why would he enjoy watching me practice for almost two hours every day? Regardless of his reasonings I was starting to enjoy having company around other than my aunt and uncle. I hadn't exactly had a friend before and I never really cared about having any, but now that I've got Kuroo falling me around like a lost dog I think I'd enjoy having friends. Which, I suppose, is why I agreed to be his. Suddenly, as if on cue I got a text from him. If I knew he was going to text me at 5 am I would've have given him my number yesterday.
