"When the moon waxes full again," Ivar said, gazing up at the moon. "we shall seize our fame and fortune, and fight such a battle that the world will tremble. And the winner shall inherit the Earth."

They sailed ever closer to Kattegat.
"Home." Halfdan smiled.
"Honestly, I don't know anymore." Björn said. "What is home? I'm a viking. But there's something else, mother of my children, Torvi. I don't love her anymore. She doesn't deserve it." He sighed. "I feel bad about it."
"What we deserve and what we get, Björn Ironside, is never in balance. It appears the gods are not much interested in fairness."
They heard horns blowing. The horns that told of incoming ships, then they were met with a cheering crowd.
Björn smiled wide at the sight of his children. Hali laughed and ran to Björn, jumping into his arms. Torvi came to him, carrying little Asa. Björn embraced his family, then made his way to the great hall to find his mother.
Lagertha kissed his cheeks and hugged him tight. "Welcome home, my son."
Björn looked past her to her guests. "Why are the sami here?"
"King Harald and your brother Ivar are planning to attack us."
Ironside stiffened. "When?"
"At the next full moon."
"Well, it seems I have returned just in time."
"We need even more help. We can't underestimate the forces Harald and Ivar will bring to bear. That is why I invited the sami to join us. Come and meet them."
