Dream SMP Beach Week (Tommyinnit x Reader)

Day Two part 1

This time when you wake up, Tommy is still in bed. You're the first one awake in the whole house. Quietly, you tiptoe around and pour yourself some coffee, then slip on your sandals and walk out the door, still in your baggy pajamas. You walk in solidarity to the beach and sit down in the cool sand. Watching the waves, you just enjoy the brisk morning until you've sipped your coffee to the last drop. Reluctantly, you walk back to the AirBnB. As soon as you walk through the door, Wilbur encompasses you in a huge hug.

"What the fuck?" You ask, muffled by his sweater.

"Where were you? You had us worried sick!"

"I was at the beach," you respond, wiggling out of his arms.

"You could have at least left a note!"

"Sorry! I won't do it again!" You set your mug down and sit on the porch with two teenage boys.

"Wilbur's a little overprotective isn't he," you vent, plopping down in a chair.

"Oh hi y/n, you're back!" Tubbo greets you.

"See! You guys weren't worried!"

Tubbo shoots a knowing glance at Tommy who quickly cuts him off saying, "I mean you said it yourself, you'd be able to fight off a kidnapper."

"That's true!" you cackle, and the conversation nicely transitions until breakfast time.

Everyone is gathered around the table eating cereal, bagels, or whatever else they prepared for themselves.

"So what's the plan?" Sapnap asks.

"I was thinking we could go into town today, do some exploring," you suggest. Everyone nods in agreement.

~time skip~

After arriving in town, you and Nikki want to look at boutiques, Tommy and Tubbo run off looking for toy shops to buy a vlog gun, and George, Sapnap, Dream and Wilbur are just kind of left to their own devices. You and Niki have a great time and you buy a really cute sundress you could wear over your bathing suit.

"So, you and Wilbur eh?" You tease.

"Don't act like you're not the one with the big fat crush." Nikki has suspicions, but she mostly just said this to get a reaction. And boy do you react. Your face gets hot and you stammer,

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

"So you do! I knew it! Who is it?"

"I don't see why I have to tell you." You stick your tongue out at her.

"I will..." Nikki quickly looks around. "...buy those stupid friendship necklaces for us if you tell me who it is."

"Deal!" You exclaim after a pause of consideration that was only for show. You didn't really care if Nikki knew, but you wanted to make her work for it. She brought the necklaces to the cash register and placed them in your hand after the purchase was made. "Not so fast, we have to wear them."

"But y/n it's so tacky!"

"Do it for the sake of friendship and secrets!"

"Fine," she says with a roll of her eyes. The second she clasps the cheap heart around her neck the turns to me with a hand on each of my shoulders. "Now, who is it that you like?"

"Tommy," you mumble as inaudibly as possible. Against your efforts, Nikki still hears you and emits a head-turning squeal. The interrogation stance transitions into a bear hug.

"I am so happy right now, you guys would be so cute."

"Not a word," you hiss at her as you see out of the corner of your eye the rest of the group walking towards you. Nikki does the 'my lips are sealed' movement and you let go of each other to meet your friends. When they reach you, Niki goes to talk to Wilbur while you talk to Tommy and Tubbo.

"Hey Wilbur, do you think Tommy likes y/n?"

"Are you kidding me? She was the only thing he could talk about." They both giggle in their realization of the budding couple. Now that they saw it, they couldn't un-see it. The stupid jokes y/n made that Tommy laughed extra hard at, the way she looked at him when he wasn't looking. It was painfully obvious. Suddenly, a chant rose from the front of the group. "..ice cream ice cream ICE CREAM!" Wilbur and Nikki were the only ones not included in the chant as the teens and young adults turn towards them.

"What are you, children?" Wilbur asks.

"Technically, yes!" You respond cheerfully. Everyone laughs and makes their way to the nearest ice cream parlor after Wilbur complies. You get your favorite flavour and Tommy gets mint chocolate chip which you make sure to tease him for. The sun starts to set and you gasp at the pink sky.

"It's beautiful," you say to yourself.

"It is, isn't it." You look and see Tommy is looking at you. You blush like crazy but just smile and keep admiring the view.
