While the night seems to only have begun.
In another world lies a large cave with beautiful crystals lining the cave in an elegant and incredible way. The ground is nothing but water with the deep unknown below while in the center of it all.. A large crystal growing out from the water.
The colors pulsating in and out as everything around it is nearly alive. Feeding off the mysterious energy of this large crystal here.
It's quiet.. very quiet within this cave..
With no physical way to come in.. or come out..
The only thing to keep company the crystal is the sound of dripping water...
Until the crystal goes through a rainbow of chrome colors till it flashes white. Blinding the cave until the water becomes crystal clear. The cave around radiating in multiple colors and shimmering like glitter.
The water around was still all around, but now, there's something breaking the surface.
A hand pulls through the water and breaks the surface. Following with a face and another arm scrambling for something to grab onto. Gasping and coughing up water as the person's eyes shoot open and look around frantically.
"Wh-Where am *cough, cough* I?!" The person shouts. "PL-*cough, gasp* Please!! HELP ME!!"
The mystery person continues to scramble and swim towards the large crystal in the center until they realize there is no platform to get onto. They frantically look around to see if there is anywhere they could pull themselves onto but there is nothing. They look back towards the crystal as it glows before they cough again, their muscles slowly growing sore from keeping themselves above water before they reach out to the crystal.
Just before they touch it. The crystal flashes white again, blinding everything. Making the mystery person gasp and pull away..
"It's time.. " a deep, radiant voice comes from the crystal. "It's time to put a stop to the upcoming era.."
The light slowly fades to reveal the mystery person standing on the water as if it's glass. Their eyes widen as they gasp and fall back on their bum. Expecting to fall into the water but instead, they don't. The water gracefully catches them and keeps them dry yet.. they do not fall.
Their eyes glow softly as they reach their hands down towards the water and press against it to see their skin glowing as it grazes the water. Preventing them from falling in. They slowly look up to the crystal as it sends pulsating lights throughout the cave.
"Wh...What do you mean? I... Where am I? Wh- Who am I? What are you?!" They ask the crystal while standing up on their feet. Slowly walking over to the crystal as it turns colors and sparkles in the dark. They grow closer to the crystal before it turns clear like a mirror. Allowing the person to look into the mirror before their eyes widen.
Seeing themselves in the mirror. An average built man in his early 20's with very dark skin, light violet to black ombre hair that's pulled up into a messy ponytail, golden eyes, and small white horns. They have pointy ears, fangs, and small demonish white wings, and a tail swaying back and forth. They look at themselves before they reach up and grab their face, feeling his skin but watching that everywhere he touches, it glows for a second them fades away. His tail begins to sway in fascination before he lets out a soft growl.
"I- You still haven't told me.. Where am I?" The man askes, pulling away from the crystal.
" You are here within the Creation of Temples my boy. You are the new guardian of Creation and your name is Agape. The God's have sent you here to begin your work, but before you start.. You must know the plans and devote yourself to those above you." The crystal speaks softly towards Agape. Each time it speaks, it sends out soft radiant energy of light that makes the cave dance in colors.
Agape begins to purr before he looks around the cave. His eyes glowing softly while his skin sparkles. " I don't understand though.. I'm in my..20's yet I have no memories of before I broke the surface of this water. How do God's just.. do this?" Agape asks while looking around.
The crystal stays silent for a bit before the crystal flashes white once more, blinding Agape as he shields his eyes. Once he opens them, he gasps to see that the cave he was once in is now showing a crumbling world on fire. War. Death. Corruption. The crystal still in the same place as before. Agape looks around before his eyes widen as he watches a building in front of him collapse to the ground, hearing healthy screams come from inside. His eyes build up with tears while he covers his eyes. Shaking his head before he collapses to the ground on his knees.
"I- I don't understand!!! I DON'T UNDERSTAND!!!"
His body glows brighter and brighter before the image around him flashes and goes back to the cave he was in before. This time the colors are bright, there are flowers, moss, animals such as frogs, fish, insects and more. There is life living in the cave now. A small white lizard from the ceiling drops down on top of Agape's head before crawling down onto his hand. Making Agape look to his hand to see a little white Salamander with purple spots down its back and beautiful yellow eyes staring at Agape. Making him notice everything around him.
" You are the God of Life my boy.. The only one who can see unconditional love in every living thing.. The image you saw is what the world will come to if you cannot stop it.
The world will crumble. Fall into war.. death.. destruction.. and leave nothing behind.
You are responsible for keeping the peace.. and to find a way to fix fate's premonition before it comes permanent. " The crystal says. " You must travel to the world, and find what is causing Fate's idea of the world ending and bring an end to them."
The crystal slowly begins to fade in color before it stops entirely. Going back to the normal blue/green color scheme as Agape sits there with the little salamander in his hand. His eyes glowing before he sniffles. Taking the little salamander and bringing it to his face to cuddle into while he cries alone in the cave.
