San POV
After you and everyone else in the class went into their designated changing rooms, San was left alone with the professor.
"Let's walk and talk." Mr. Jung said to San to which he nodded his head and began following the elder.
He took a look back to the door you went into, hoping that you were okay in there. San had seen the girls glaring at you and got worried when you got uncomfortable.
"So. I expect you didn't bring any dance gear today since it's your first day." The professor started which brought San's attention back to him. "Make sure to bring them on Friday. I'll verify your information and you'll be able to get into the boy's locker room anytime with your school ID." Mr. Jung spoke as he unlocked the door to one of the dance studios. "Are you comfortable with dancing in the clothes you have on now?"
San looked down at the baggy sweatshirt and black leather pants he was wearing. He shrugged and gave a quick “Yep.” to Mr. Jung.
"Good, I would like to see what you're all about." Mr. Jung beamed and turned to San who had his eyes widened.
"Am I supposed to audition for this class?" San asked, worried about the circumstances. His worrisome face was broken by Mr. Jung's belly laugh.
"Not at all. It's just that since you're from such an elite dance academy I would just like to see what you can do." He explained and San let out a sigh of relief. "While we wait for the students to get back, I’ll start reviewing your paperwork and you should start looking for the song you wish to perform."
"Okay. Any specifics?" San asked while dishing through his bag for his folder. He then looked up and pushed the folder out to Mr. Jung who was shaking his head to his question.
"Just pick whatever you're comfortable with that you think that I would like." He smiled and took the folder. After, he walked over to the cables and cords in the corner. San scratched his head and placed his bag down in a corner and sat next to it.
He began scrolling through his phone looking through his playlist of many songs he'd learn the choreographies to.
"What would he like…?" He questioned in his head. San had just met him and had no idea of his tastes or intrest. He pouted and kept scrolling, this time you came to mind.
He used you as a reference. Your warm and kind nature that made him feel comfortable. He switched playlists to his more flowy and happier songs to which he expected you to like. He smiled as each song brought a memory of you.
"Whatcha smiling at?" Someone came up next to him and shoved their face close to his. San jumped and quickly looked over to the person.
"Oh Y/N you scared me." He placed his hand over his heart and exhaled. You scooted backwards and giggled.
"Ah! Sorry.." You apologized and half smiled. San got a better look at you and saw you in some sweatpants and an oversized shirt that looked quite familiar.
"Do you prefer larger clothes?" He questioned and pointed to your shirt. You looked down and tilted your head.
"Usually but this one is really big. My shirt for practice is a bit smaller." You said and tugged on the loose material. "Maybe it expanded while I was washing it?"
"That could be the case but it looks really familiar.." San clicked his tongue, trying to figure out for himself.
You then looked down and gasped.
"It's-." You started and looked away with your flushed face. San looked at it and immediately figured it out.
"Oh gosh it's Yunho's isn't it?" San pointed at the tag that said 'tall' on the back. You kept looking in a different direction and nodded your head slowly.
Even though he saw your embarrassed state, he couldn't help but break out into a fit of laughter from the tag on your shorter figure.
“B-but what are you up to anyway?” You questioned pointing at his phone, obviously trying to change the subject. He turned his attention back to his phone and frowned.
“Mr. Jung wants me to perform a song. He said to pick something he’d like but I just met him! I have no idea.” San complained and threw his head back and rested it on the wall behind him.
You then peaked over at his phone looking at what was on it. "Well that's the thing, he isn't picky at all. I would say just pick whatever you can do best and feel most comfortable with."
San raised his head up and looked at you staring intently at the screen. Your lips were moving softly as your eyes scanned the phone. "You know how to dance to these songs?" You looked back at him with your eyes sparkling. He then had menatlly high-fived himself for figuring out one of your interests.
"I do. It's actually what I do best." He flaunted which he knew was a lie.
"I bet you're like super good at all types of dances! You got accepted into an academy and are friends with Wooy- oh." You giddily said until you cut yourself off and slapped your hand over your mouth. San looked at your pained expression with confusion.
"Did Wooyoung say anything to her?" San thought and grew a little angry at that possibility.
"A-anyway like I was saying." You continued and rubbed your face from the slap you gave yourself. "I think it'd be best to pick something you're familiar with but also find impressive."
San nodded and looked back at his phone to soon let his expression fall.
"That's the thing. I know a lot and am comfortable with anything." He sighed and continued to scroll through his playlists.
"Let me help you then." You offered and put your hand out, asking for his phone. He gladly accepted and placed his device in your palm.
After a short while of looking and laughing over his playlist names, he had set his mind on one, but didn't tell you. Instead, he bluffed and said he still didn't know and insisted on a break.
"Also did everything go okay in the locker room?" He asked and stuffed his phone in his pocket to make sure you wouldn't try picking a song again. "I had seen the way some girls had looked at you, so I got worried."
You chuckled lightly and waved your hands in front of you. "Oh no it was all good! Heejin was in there getting ready for ballet so I was pretty protected."
San widened his eyes for one of two reasons. One, He had felt bad that only because someone else was there you had felt safe. And two, Heejin did ballet?
"Does she really do ballet? She doesn't seem like someone who would..." San asked first which made you laugh.
"Yeah I hear that a lot. She's really talented though! In fact, she should be performing in this year's winter festival!" You boasted with a smile.
"Winter-" "Alright everyone let's begin stretching." Mr Jung cut San off from asking you what that was. You huffed and began stretching.
"Is there anything specific I have to do?" San asked, while you tossed your arm across your chest and had the other hold it up to guide it in a stretch.
“Nope! You can do your own thing. Or you can follow me if you need help!” You said still tugging on your arm.
San nodded his head lightly and observed your little stretch routine. Even though he’d been stretching for years and has his own that involves advanced stretches, he chose to mimic yours.
You two exchanged some more small talk over the shirt mishap while stretching. San even teased you for not being able to go further down while doing a hamstring stretch to which he playfully got hit on the shoulder by you for it.
“While you guys are stretching, let me go over some important announcements and agenda.” Mr Jung chimed in which earned a loud “Yes” from the class.
“So, as you know the winter festival is approaching. I bet you’re all excited to attend it.” He spoke up once again. San looked around to see the students whispering and giving each other high fives. “Is it really going to be that fun?” He thought, happy at the fact that he was right about his speculations of University.
“However, this year will be different. We have been selected to take part in a performance." He said which made the class go silent.
"Too soon, San." He mentally scolded himself and cringed.
"Did I really make you go speechless?" The professor coughed. "Anyway, this specific class along with other classes were chosen to perform together. We have plenty of time so on Friday we’ll begin discussing.”
“For today we will be just going over what we learned on Monday and our newest addition will be showing off what he can do.” Mr. Jung motioned his hand over to San which made everyone, especially the girls, clap and cheer. You turned back and clapped mimicking the girls a little which made him snort.
“Okay everyone, partner up and start with the partner warm ups. San please pass out the sheets to the pairs.” Mr. Jung said and began fishing through his bag.
“See you soon, San!” You got up first and waved back and started walking to a group. He watched you walk off a little before he got up himself.
“Have fun." He called back and walked over to Mr. Jung.
"Make sure every pair gets one." He said handing the papers over to San. San nodded and walked away and followed the instructions.
"Kai that hurts!" He heard you retort and looked immediately over to you worriedly. He saw you and another guy in a hamstring stretch position with your feet pressed together while he was pulling your arms towards himself causing you to stretch forward a lot. He knew from your guy's little stretch session a few minutes ago, you weren't the most flexible.
"Oops. Sorry." The guy, assuming to be 'Kai', smirked and laughed playfully.
San came up and dropped the sheet on your head which made you shoot back up and take the page off your head.
He turned back to see you place the page aside and go back to tug Kai's arms harshly to which he stretched with ease. San knew you were trying.
And it was cute.
"Keep that extra paper." Mr. Jung said to San once he returned. "That's currently what we're learning."
San glanced down at it to see the basics of contemporary dance. He nodded his head along with each move, remembering it from his lessons at the academy.
"I know this may seem like child's play and nothing more but a warm up for you and I'm sorry." He sighed out which made San turn his head to him. "However, taking this class is crucial for dance majors to take and you can't graduate without taking it."
"Right. I truly don't mind. There are certain types of dance styles I'd like to improve. Like contemporary!" San said and pointed to the sheet. Mr. Jung chuckled and nodded.
"Good. I'll make sure that this class is extra fun for you regardless." Mr. Jung smiled at San and began to move to the middle of the room. He then clasped his hands together to grab the attention of the class.
"What group would like to go first?"

This chapter was supposed to be short :'). 2000 words later and here we are. I was not expecting this and I apologize for the delay.
