“Bye San, see you soon!” You waved while walking out of the door to San who was getting ready to run to his next class.
“Bye Y/N! Text me if you need anything!” He exclaimed and started to jog backwards. You smiled and stood still waiting for him to start going.
A thought came to your head that made you gasp “San!” You called out to the boy who was already hopping forward. He turned around and looked at you with curious eyes.
“I believe in you!” You recited the words he had told you before your audition. Even though he was still far away, you could see his eyes sparkle and his mouth open in a wide smile. You could swear at that very moment he looked like an anime character.
“Good! Let’s keep believing in each other.” He screamed and put up his fist in front of him. You returned it and did an air fist bump with him. Your eyes watched him turn around and start running the other way happily.
“You two seem close.” A deep unhappy sounding voice came from besides you that made your heart drop. You move your head slowly to the left of you.
“What do you m-mean, Chan?” You accidentally stutter and mentally curse at yourself for doing so.
A small chuckle escaped his mouth “It was just a joke. Loosen up a bit.”
And how do you expect me to do that with you around?” You thought and chewed your lip.
“He does look kind of familiar..” He spoke up again making you turn your head away.
You didn’t know if San was still willing to help you out with this situation. He already did so much for you in such a short amount of time and didn’t want to drag him into it. So, you remained silent.
“Aww don’t give me the silent treatment. I’ll walk you to your next class.” Chan swung his arm around the back of your neck which caused you to stumble forward a little.
You coughed and looked at him from the corner of your eye. “No thank you..” You mumbled and tried to remove his arm. He protested and kept it still right there.
“Take a hint Chan!” Someone chimed in from behind you. To your relief, it was Beom. “She clearly isn’t comfortable.” She broke between you two and stood with her back facing you. Her arms were crossed as she looked at him.
“Why you little-” “Hey don't get any ideas..” Chan got cut off by another voice, a male one. “Don’t even think about throwing a tantrum in front of them.”
“Kai I..” Chan sighed out and lowered his hands in defeat. He made an attempt to get to you once again but instantly got stopped by Kai who put a hand on his chest to prevent him from walking forward.
“Go on now, shoo shoo.” Beom flicked her wrists signaling for him to go away. The male poked his cheek with his tongue and looked at you one last time before turning away angrily and storming off.
“Thank you guys..” You relaxed yourself and exhaled.
Kai shoved his hand in his pocket and sighed out. “Does he bother you like that often?” He asked which made you choke on air.
“No no.. Just the usual thing he does you know?” You lied. Kai sucked his teeth with annoyance and shook his head.
Chan’s reputation wasn’t the best. He was always ‘flirting’ with multiple girls and tried to get popular among all his peers. Turns out he wasn’t fit for this role at all. His ‘flirting’ ended up deterring girls and his personality only got him disliked by many. He was known for bugging girls now and you used that excuse to your advantage.
“I swear after all those rejections he still tries?” Beom ranted and squeezed the bridge of her nose. “He’ll get over it don’t worry.”
You nodded innocently and thanked them once again. You didn’t want them to freak out if they knew what was actually happening.
"Well let's get to walking then." Kai motioned you two to turn the other way. You gave a confused look to the boy while walking next to him.
"Isn't your next class back that way today?" Your finger pointed behind yourself. He pressed his index finger to his lips and laughed.
"Yep that's right. But I don't want Chan to try anything funny. Plus that means I can stall going to his class so win win." Kai explained
to you two. Beom looked at you and you both lightly giggled and shook your heads.
"Whatever." The older girl folded her arms and plugged in both her earbuds.
Kai pouted and turned to you. "So, how do you like your new partner?"
"San? I love it! He's so skilled and well controlled over his body. It feels like dancing with a.." You trailed off when you realized you were talking to your former partner. "I mean.. He's more gentle with me while stretching."
Kai's lips turned into a smirk which earned a small playful push from you. "You can be honest. Everything that you said at first was true. Did you see the way he moved?" He laughed and patted your back. You let out a sigh of relief because he luckily didn’t take any offense to it.
“Well yeah that’s her partner you big o’-” Beom said, her small accent showing through. It made you giggle because whenever her little country side accent came out, it meant she was shy.
You started to make your way to the back and all the way to the side that left Beom and Kai together.
Ah yes, master wingman.
You noticed her looking a little more relaxed while next to him. Not looking down at her feet, shoulders up to her ears, or fiddling with her fingers. Was it because she had gotten him as a new partner?
You smiled at the thought of them finally having a chance together and got distracted by it.
"Well here we are Y/N." Kai's words snapped you out of your small trance.
"Right. Thank you guys so much again!" You waved to them and ran up the stairs and through the big glass doors.
Once inside, you checked your phone while walking and gasped at the numbers up on top of the screen.
"How did I lose track so fast?" You grimaced at the phone and began to run slightly.
You reached the door and peaked in through the small window on the door.
Only a few people.. Perfect.
The big door opened with a small creek that made eyes turn to you.
"Oh finally you're here." Someone spoke up from the back row.
How could you forget.
This was Korean.
With… Wooyoung.
It was the first time you had seen him since that night. He looked a little paler than usual and his under eyes looked heavier. You sighed and made your way over.
"Why are you here so early?" You asked softly once you reached the shared desk.
He rested his head on his palm and gave you a look. "I wanted to talk to you." Wooyoung mumbled slightly. "Why were you running anyway? It's like thirty minutes before class even starts."
"I need to work on this paper. Heejin wouldn't let me touch my laptop yesterday." You pulled out your items and piled them on the desk.
"Same but I didn't have an excuse. I just forgot." Your friend admitted from next to you and copied you.
"Wait before you open that!" He slammed his palm on the laptop screen as you were trying to open it. You looked at him with wide eyes which made him laugh painfully.
"Look I was being really stupid that night. I didn't mean to make you stressed. Just know whatever is going on between us doesn't involve you." He paused for a moment and looked up at you. "I'm sorry."
"Don't worry about it." You grinned and pat his hand that was on your laptop. He took it off and ruffled your hair.
"They remind me of one another so much. They're so kind and their personalities feel so similar. I hope they get better soon." You thought while fixing your messed up head of hair.
Time had skipped by unexpectedly quickly and the teacher entered the room soon.
"Goodmorning." Ms. Kim smiled sweetly which sent a majority of the male students into a squealing frenzy. You and Wooyoung looked up, confused on how everyone got in so fast.
"Well, let's start with names.." She began and you went back to typing.

A notification popped up in the bottom corner of your laptop screen. You cringed at the loud sound and lowered the volume before opening it up.
