San POV:
"Did i just ask that?" San questioned himself. "Can she even come into my dorm?"
Questions like this filled his head as he waited outside the locker room. Class had ended a while ago and he still thought back to not only his question, but the information Mr. Jung gave him.
flashback
“I know the writing major is hard, so I usually don't have her dancing and wasting more energy than she has." Mr. Jung explained to an intrigued San. "She just hangs around with me and helps me from time to time. That's how I picked up on her little lingo."
"Is writing that hard?" San questioned in a little bit of a quieter voice. The elder shook his head.
"Hard is an understatement. The specific professor she got is well known to drive her students insane." He explained. "I just want her to let loose in this class."
"You could've asked-" You exclaimed suddenly. San looked through the corner of his eye to see you walking away with your partner. His head shifted a little to get a better look at you discreetly. For some reason, he didn’t like the sight of you being pulled away. It had reminded him of when he first met you, when you were stuck with that guy.
“However, I have a favor to ask of you.” Mr. Jung placed his hand on San’s shoulder. San looked back at him and nodded.
“You two seem close and I sense a great chemistry between you. So, I’m going to partner you two up.” He smiled proudly. San chewed his lip and simply nodded slowly.
"Is it okay to just change partners like this? I don't know if it's a good idea to split people who are so used to each other." San suggested and scratched the back of his neck, very flustered with the elder's choice of words.
"I don't see your point." The professor blatantly turned down which made San sigh deeply. "I base my partners off of how well they get along and their chemistry. When you look at a pair dancing, you can tell their relationships and if they're strangers to one another, the dance will be dry and boring. Do you understand?"
San widened his eyes as soon as Mr. Jung's explanation clicked. The shocked dark haired male nodded vigorously.
"Alright well, I think it's time for you to show me what you got."
His entire performance had felt so fast and somewhat boring like usual. It wasn't the first time he'd perform this song but he managed to keep his composure and finish it off.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by the class cheers which made his face turn into a lighter expression.
Then, that's when he soon made his way towards you.
“Would you like to visit my dorm with me?” Asked a sheepish San, mentally praying he didn’t come off as weird. His eyes darted for anywhere but yourself.
"Oh sure!" You said and pressed your index finger on your chin. "Are you moved in yet?"
"If you count a single stuffed animal on an empty bed and suitcases in the corner moved in, then yes." San chuckled lightly to which you giggled in response.
"Maybe I can help! We can unpack and go pick up some snacks or even-" You continued on and on to the male. San smiled as he thought your excitement was cute.
end of flashback
"Ready to go?" San heard your voice chime next to him snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Yeah. Let's go." He said and flashed a smile then led the way.

Y/N POV:
San took the lead for a little to which you managed to pace up to him.
"When did you move in?" You broke the silence.
"Just yesterday." He replied lightly. "I hope that I get along with my roommate."
"Who is your roommate?" You question and tilt your head.
"Yunho." He said which made you gasp.
"Wow how lucky! You guys are already friends so that makes it easier huh? I remember Heejin and I had to beg the entire first year." You reminisced and smiled. Your little smile soon turned to an o shape. "Oh no, that means Heejin is going to have to find a new place to crash when we have our study parties."
"Study parties? You guys stay over?" San questioned. You looked up to meet his eyes.
"Yeah! Even though they sometimes just end up being hangouts, it's so fun." As for staying over, we figured that would be best since we usually end at like 3 am. We can avoid the long walk to our dorm and the creeps all in the dark" You explained to the taller male. He nodded and made an "ah" sound.
"So if Heejin would be with Yunho, who would you go with?" San asked again and stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"Oh Wooyoung actually. He's by himself like Yunho was." You soon realized after that sentence who you were talking about. Your eyes made a beeline for the floor as you giggled awkwardly.
"Well I guess Heejin AND you have nowhere to crash now." San chuckled next to you which brought your head back up to look at him in confusion. "Yeosang is Wooyoung's new roommate."
"Oh… Oh?" You frowned. "Did you move in together yesterday?" You asked and San responded with a nod.
"Wooyoung didn't tell me..?" You asked in your head. Your eyebrows furrowed and a pout formed on your lips.
"What's Wooyoung to you?" San asked and stopped for a little. You looked up at him to see his face twisted in a rather serious expression.
"We've been best friends since highschool. We didn't attend the same one but still managed to meet up and grow our friendship." You smiled at him, trying to hide your shock to how he mentioned Wooyoung right as you were thinking about him. "Why do you ask?"
"No reason." San answers sharply yet with a big smile.
"I really want to start unpacking and settling in, but I have a few more classes until 7." San quickly changed the topic with a slight childish tone. He poked out his bottom lip like a kid which made your lips curl into a grin.
"I'm off tomorrow! I can help in between your classes?" You offered to him with the same smile.
"That would be amazing." San jumped up and down while walking sideways. You laughed at him and imitated his little jumps of joy.
After that short little walk, you two had finally reached the dorm building. San swiped his key card at the entrance and tried to input a pin.
"Sorry, I tend to forget it sometimes." He harshly scratches the back of his head and sighed.
"Let me try.. 180.." You pushed aside San a little and started pressing the numbers on the keypad. A beep sounded from the door and unlocked.
"How do you know that?" San asked with a shocked face while pulling the door open.
"I've been here more than my own dorm." You chuckle and walk in first.
It wasn't long until you both reached his dorm since the entire way there you had to recite the numbers to San and test him a few times.
"Don't get too shocked when you see my interior decorating now." San laughed and fumbled with the keys in the lock. You walked in after he got it open to see the room like you always have seen it, half of the room decorated and the other half blank and empty. The walls decked out with dog posters and calendars, potato chip bags both full and empty lie around and not a single book in sight. Yep, definitely Yunho. This time, the empty bed had a singular blanket lying across it and a single shiba inu plush in the middle and the suitcases and boxes were in the corner.
"Wow, I love the minimalism." You joked to San who threw his hands in the air.
"Told you!" He said back. You went over and picked up his plush and squished it.
"Careful with shiber! He's my only pillow right now." San went over and snatched the dog plush out of your hands. He fluffed it out while sticking his tongue out at you.
"Sorry!" You apologized with a laugh and took a seat on his bed. "What did you need to talk about anyway?"
"Oh right.. So remember that guy that I saw you with when we first met?" He paused and waited for your response.
Oh how could you ever forget Chan. You heaved out a sigh and slowly nodded your head with your eyes closed.
"I saw him pacing in the front of our building this morning yelling your name over the phone. Is that creep your boyfriend or something?" San questioned and cocked his brow up. You choked on air and started coughing unintentionally.
"What?" You managed to breathe out. San had gotten you the water bottle you lent from his bag and handed it to you. After a quick waterfall, you spoke again "No not at all. For some reason he's always asking- no demanding me to date him or talk with him. He always blows up my phone or bugs me in person."
"Has he tried that stunt again? The one behind the building?" He asked again.
"No, not since that day. Only the usual." You breathed out.
"Do the others know? Shouldn't they be keeping you safe? Tch especially Wooy-" San shook his head and scoffed out the last part.
"No no please don't say anything!" You pleaded and grabbed his shoulder. "I mean they know but I don't tell them much- I just don't want them to get worried and possibly have Heejin rip Chan's head off and face charges, we're too broke for that right now." You added and bit your lip.
San heavily sighed out and placed his fingers on his temple. "So Chan is his name. Whatever but what's going to happen when something like that happens again? No one will know where you're at and who you're with- Do you even know how to fight?"
You shook your head slowly in response to his scolding.
"Well fine I won't tell anyone. But I will figure something out to help you, okay?" He stated. You hesitantly took you hand off of his shoulder and looked down. "You can't say no. Okay?" San added which made you look up at his eyes. He was serious.
Your conversation had gotten cut off by the sound of keys in the door. Both of you whipped your head around to the noise to see a tall person step through, Yunho.
"Hey San! Welcome back." Yunho breathed out while shimmying his shoes off his feet. "Oh hey Y/N- Y/N?!"  he took a double take and had his mouth agape.
"Hey Yun." You waved slightly.
"What're you doing back so early?" San questioned the male looking shocked.
"I could ask you the same thing. Especially with herrr~" teased Yunho whilst wiggling his eyebrows."This isn't the first time you two have been caught together. Are you sure that you guys aren't, yknow?" The taller male added and made kiss sounds after the last sentence. Your face instantly burned up and you could feel the tomato pigment creep up to your ears.
"It's not like that I swear!" Both you and San said in unison. Your heads snapped to each other as you both looked at one another with eyes as big as saucers.
"He's a new student in my dance theory class and had some questions for me. So we came to hang out here. Nothing special!" You awkwardly smiled to break the speculations of the puppy looking male. Yunho broke out into a loud laugh which made you confused.
"It was just a joke! You guys have to be soulmates or something." He flopped over and rested his palms on his knees, still laughing hard.
San looked at you with his eyebrow raised and mouthed 'he's kinda crazy' which made you giggle quietly and nod.
"Oh Yunho! I have your shirt!" You beamed and began fishing inside your bag for it. You pulled out the piece of folded material and placed it on your lap.
"I used it today though.. I'll wash it tomorrow!"
"Oh that makes sense as to why my shirt shrunk…" Yunho unzipped his sweater to reveal his, in fact your shirt, snug against his large frame barely holding all his muscle in. San wheezed out a high pitched laugh and clapped continuously as he rocked back on the bed. It made you chuckle a little.
San's laugh.
It was cute to you.
You then shook your head after that thought.
"Anyway tomorrow is your only day off in a while right? I'll wash it on the weekend along with your shirt, you get some actual rest." Yunho demanded of you like a parent. You jokingly rolled your eyes but handed him the shirt, knowing there was no changing his mind.
"Highly doubt I'll be able to, but if you insist." You chuckled. Yunho pouted for a little while taking the shirt. His face of playful despair brightens up and he exclaims.
"I know! Let's all hang out tonight!" He says and jumps up and down a little. You immediately shake your head.
"Can't do that, I ha-" "You have work to do I know I know. Well too bad you must come! It'll be our first hangout with San and Yeosang. Think of it as a welcome party." Yunho cut you off with that. He made his eyes go big and sad like a dog's. You sigh heavily and hang your head trying to avoid his pleading expression
"Maybe this is a good idea. I was told that you don't get rest very often so maybe a lot of food and these morons will help you get tired and sleep well." San added to that made you sight even louder. You ultimately knew they only wanted the best for you and just wanted to help.
"Fine." You gave in finally.
