Fifteen

Flashback

Jin looked at the time on his phone and sent his husband another text as he sat at their kitchen table, finishing up his school assignments. It was about his tenth message to his husband that night, which got ignored. It wasn't like Namjoon to ignore him, but it was becoming more common within the last three months.

He knew his husband worked long hours and his job as an attorney made his days quite busy. However, he was most times available, especially for his husband, who was six months pregnant with twins. He also knew Jin had a hard time sleeping if he wasn't home and would stay awake until he comes home. He was using the time to study or work on his med school assignments.

It was three in the morning when Namjoon finally arrives home, a bit surprised to see that Jin had fallen asleep with his head resting on the kitchen table. "babe, wake up." Namjoon tapped Jin on his shoulder, waking him up.

Jin woke up at the sound of his husband's voice; he felt relieved that he was home upon seeing him. "Long day?" he whispered out while wiping his face and sitting up in the chair.

"Yeah, had a tough case. But, come on, let's get you to bed; you know you shouldn't sleep like this. What if you hurt your back or something." Namjoon said, helping him up from the chair. Jin's nose wrinkled as the smell of alcohol reeked off Namjoon. "You were drinking?"

"Uhh, yeah, me and the boys went to grab a drink afterward, but I only stayed with them for like half an hour. They wanted to celebrate after the case but told them I could only a quick drink as I knew you would be worry if I stayed out too late." Namjoon responded, guiding Jin to their room.

When they got into the room, he ushered Jin to their bed, helping him to bed and covering him with the blanket, kissed him on his forehead before pulling away. "Get some sleep; I need to go shower."

"You didn't see my text or calls?"

Jin's question made Namjoon stop from walking towards the bathroom; taking his phone out of his pocket, he waved it at Jin, "it's dead, sorry didn't get to charge it." throwing it onto the bed, he asked, "can you put it on the charger for me?"

It was then something caught Jin's attention, "umm, where is your wedding ring?"

Namjoon quickly looked at his hand, digging it into his pocket, he pulled out his ring and slips it on, "shit, earlier I was washing my hand-"

"Go shower Namjoon. It's fine." Jin said, not wanting to hear anymore.

"Seokjin-"

"Babe, it's fine, go shower. I am going to sleep." Jin reassures him and turns his back to him.

Namjoon sighs and leaves the room. Once JIn knew he had left, he picked up Namjoon's phone and connected it to the charge next to their bed. The phone lit up immediately and began powering on, making Jin realize the battery wasn't dead. His husband had turned off his phone.

Not allowing himself to get emotional, he waits patiently for the phone to power up. When it comes on, he enters Namjoon's password and begins looking through his phone. The first thing he sees is that Namjoon had read all his messages to him. Jin took a deep breath and sat up on the bed. Clicking on the name of the person his husband last texted, he regretted doing so immediately as he read the last message that was received. "I miss your big cock in me already. Did you have to go home tonight?"

Closing his eyes, Jin took another deep breath before proceeding through the conversation. There seemed to be no end to their conversation; he found naked pictures shared between his husband, the man he was cheating on him with. Jin had his suspicion this was going on, but he chose not to believe it, thinking it was only his insecurities and pregnancy mood. As Namjoon had told him, he found Jin was whinier about things since he had gotten pregnant. Now, he realized he wasn't whiny, and there was nothing wrong with him, but the issues were with his husband.
