One Month Later

Namjoon glares at Jin, who was smiling from ear to ear, "I guess you happy now."

"To be rid of you, yes, I am thrilled." Jin was genuinely happy to be finally divorced and free from his marriage with Namjoon. With the court's decision, he realizes why the wait was worth it. Even though he would never gain back his kids, he did get a lot over on Namjoon and spousal support, which he didn't need, but certainly did not refuse.

"We could have worked this out. It's what our kids would have wanted." Namjoon says, standing in front of Jin. Jin's chest tightened at his words, and the smile he had one his face disappeared as he looks at his ex-husband. "You have some fucking nerve mentioning them! After destroying our marriage, you ought to be out of your mind to think I would have stayed with you. I-I don't even know why I am standing here with you, bye Namjoon, keep out of my life, and let's never meet each other again." Jin pushes past him and walks away.

"I still love you, Seokjin!"

Jin didn't entertain the words of his ex-husband as he walked away. Tears fell from his eyes as he walked the streets of Seoul. Needing a moment to himself, he stopped at a nearby park and took a seat, letting out a lot of built up emotions. He never thought when getting married, he would end up divorce, he doubts anyone gets married thinking that and wondered why people didn't work on their marriage and were so quick to get a divorce, but now he completely understands.

The most painful thing for him wasn't losing Namjoon, but it was losing his kids. Namjoon he could always replace, but those two precious souls, he could never replace. They were taken from him way too soon. Every waking day he wishes, he could go back in time and undo what was done. If there were wishes to be granted, that would be his only wish.

*********

Jimin pops the champagne bottle causing much of it to spill in his and Jin's living room, "you are free!" he yells, pouring Jin a glass of champagne while taking up the apple juice that he had poured into a champagne glass.

Jin smiled at his best friend and leaned into the sofa, pulling his blanket over his legs, "I am, and it feels like a load lifted from my shoulder."

"I can only imagine, and the house, you got it?" Jin nodded his head at Jimin's question, "I did, but I am going to sell it. I don't want to be in it or around it."

"Understandable. Does Jungkook know it's been finalized?"

"Nope, he has exams this week. I told him to focus on that."

"He listened? Taehyung doesn't listen to me." Jimin asked, surprised as Taehyung had exams too, but Jimin already saw him four times this week.

Jin laughs out loud and takes a sip of his champagne, "He does because there are rewards to him listening; you have to know how to talk in a language they understand. But your situation is different. You are pregnant. I can understand Taehyung wanting to be around you-"

"Yeah, he wants us to move in together."

Jin's eyes widen, "wow, that's big. What did you say?"

"I don't know; I told him I would think about it. He has a penthouse suite in the building across from Jungkook's, so I was thinking-"

Jin got up immediately, "NO! Hell, no!"

"I didn't even say it."

"I know what you were going to say, and it's a no. If you want to move in with Taehyung, go ahead, it's fine. You are now having a baby, and you like this man, it's understandable. I am good living here on my own. I would miss you, but I would be even happier for you if you did what you wanted to do, and if that's moving in with him, I am happy no matter what." Jin assured his friend, picking up the champagne bottle and turning it to his head.
