"Cheers to one month to us." Jungkook smiled and cheered his wine glass against Jin's. Jin gave him a smile putting his glass down onto the restaurant table and looked around the room, still impressed by Jungkook's efforts of getting them in one of Seoul's most popular restaurants.
As Jungkook took a sip of his wine, he eyed Seokjin, watching as he people watch and observe their environment. "You like it here?"
"It's nice, a great choice." Jin turned to face him, smiling at him. "You did good, Mr. Jeon; this is certainly a place we can have dinner and be well behaved."
Jungkook laughs at Jin's remark, knowing very well what he was referring to. "I heard the roof can be rented if needed. We can misbehave there if you want."
"No, that's not what I meant."
Reaching over, he takes Jin's hand into his own, causing Jin to look down at his hand. Using his other hand, he rubs the scar on Jungkook's knuckle, "does it hurt anymore?"
"No, it's all healed, but I guess I have a scar for memory."
"I hope you never do something like that again; no matter how angry you get, you can't let out your anger like that, do you understand?" Jin said firmly, looking at Jungkook.
He and Jungkook were polar opposite when it came to many things. He kept his emotions in check, while Jungkook didn't know how to do that. He acted on impulse, and most times, that was not a good thing, especially the after effect. He knew Jungkook was still young, so maybe something he would grow out of it.
"I have never done anything like that before. I guess I was just so angry that night, but let's not talk about that. It's not important anymore. Let's talk about us something else. I know we have committed to being together for one month, and proud of how well we have done together. Now, I am curious if you are bored with me, or do you see me as someone who could be your boyfriend?"
"b-boyfriend-"
"I know, it might be too soon, and you don't have to answer right now, but we can work towards it, right? I like you Jin, I think you know this already, and every time we have these moments together, or I see you, I can't think of you being with anyone else but me. We are almost perfect for each other, don't you think?"
Jin tried to hide the smile that was forming its way on his lips; picking up the glass with water, he takes a sip to give him a moment to gather his thoughts, "you have so much confidence in us working out, don't you?"
"I do; my father told me there is nothing in this world I cannot have if I am confident in it."
"So, you want me?"
"No, I want us, you and me together," Jungkook spoke very seriously as he stared at Jin, whose eyes he could not read. Reading Jin was always difficult for him, but he never allowed it to sway his thoughts are feelings. Taking up his wine glass, he takes a sip while watching Jin closely.
Jin sighed, "okay, and would you still want us if I told you I was pregnant?"
The wine glass slipped from Jungkook's hands, falling to the floor as his eyes widen, "y-you are what?"
"I am pregnant."
Even as the waiter came to pick up the glass that had fallen to the floor, Jungkook eyes were still wide staring at Jin. He didn't say anything as tears welled in his eyes, causing Jin to laugh in his mind knowing his prediction of Jungkook's reaction was accurate.
"I am going to be a father?"
Jin shrugged his shoulder, "it's up to you. Do you want to be one? I am keeping it, no matter what you choose, though."
Grabbing Jin's hand, he pulled it close to his face, kissing it, "of course I want to have this baby with you. Wow, this is unexpected. How far along are you?"
"Little under two months."
"Ahh, the Opera house," Jungkook said, smiling as he wiped the tears from his eyes.
Jin nodded his head and smile, "yes; a lot sure happened that night."
Jungkook knew it was probably not the right time to ask, but he had to for his sanity, "so, I don't want to be-"
"The baby is yours. I have never slept with anyone else without a condom. Except for my ex-husband, and that was when we were together. However, I would be more than okay with doing a DNA test if you would like?" Jin said, already knowing what Jungkook was going to ask; he was not mad at him; it was a legitimate question.
Jungkook felt bad and caressed Jin's hand into his own again, "I am sorry. I don't need a DNA test, I believe you."
Jin smiled, "don't apologize. It's fine. But, how do you feel becoming a father so young? Doesn't it terrify you?"
"No, I think not being with you would scare me more. I know it will be hard to be a parent while in school, but I will try my best, and if we do it together, I am sure we can make it work. Plus, we won't know until we try it, right?"
As Jin looked at Jungkook and their hands together, he wondered how someone so young could be so mature and wise at the same time. Age really was nothing but a number. He had meant many men, including himself, who did not have the type of maturity Jungkook had. He was consistent and always so firm in what he believed.
"Agreed, I think together, we can make it work."
Jungkook smiled brightly, his eyes lighting up, "does this mean you will be my boyfriend?"
"Yes, I will be your boyfriend; if you hurt me, I will kill you!"
"No, I think if anyone hurts anyone, it would be you hurting me. I only have eyes for you, no one else."
Jin felt the truth in his words as he spoke, looking at him, "I would never do anything to hurt you intentionally, I promise you that."
"And I promise you the same," Jungkook responded as he leaned across the table and kissed Jin.
