Six

Two weeks later

Jin laid his head against Jungkook's chest as his fingers stroked his bare shoulder. "I can't believe my vacation is coming to an end." it was like only yesterday in arrived at the beach house, and now he was preparing to head back home.

"I can't believe it either. I am going to miss having you here; you gave me some memorable moments while being here."

Jin hummed in agreement with Jungkook words; they certainly had some memorable moments together.

"Let's keep in contact."

Jin turned and looked up at Jungkook, "are you sure?"

"Have I ever said anything I wasn't sure of? I want to keep in contact when I get back to Seoul."

Jin was silent for a while; he didn't know what to say to Jungkook's request. Indeed he had fun, and he thought Jungkook was a great guy, but he didn't know if he wanted to carry what he had done here with him back to his regular life.

"Umm, let's see on that."

Jungkook sat up on the bed. An immediate change in his emotions became apparent to Jin, "let's see about it? what's there to see, it's a yes or no."

Jin was quite alarmed by his sudden outburst that he took a deep breath, "fine, we can stay in contact. I didn't mean to offend you; I just considered this as a summer fun, you know, and after we go our separate ways, at least that was my understanding."

Jungkook poke is tongue against in the inside of his cheek but doesn't say anything as he stares at Jin.

Jin got on top of him, straddling his lap, "don't tell me you are mad at me? This is our last night together. Let's not be upset with each other-"

"Why does it have to be our last night together? What if I want to evolve what we have here in Seoul?"

"Jungkook, trust me, you are amazing, this was beyond my imagination, but I am not in a space for anything serious right now. I have a hectic job and responsibilities back home, as I am sure you do too. I don't want to give you false promises here that I know I will not be able to keep up with there."

"I am not asking for false promises. I am asking you to consider maybe we have a deep connection together and be open to testing it out. Sex has been amazing, but there is so much more I want to know about you that I can't know about you here because every time we get together here, we end up like this. Trust me, I don't discount the sex as much as I want to fuck your brains out. I want to get to know you too. You didn't only gain my interest because of sex; you gained my interest in that and more. So all I am asking is for you to give me a chance even to be your friend in Seoul, where we can grab a coffee, chat and talk."

Jin laid his head onto Jungkook's chest and sighs, "I am open to being friends, but my life in Seoul is complicated. I don't want to pull you into that. This, the way it has been, was perfect, and I want to keep it like that."

"What's so complicated about it? I am sure it's not as half as complicated as mines are."

"Jungkook, there are things you don't know about me-"

"As there are things you don't know about me, probably things that will make you detest talking to me."

"Such as?" Jin raises his head to look at Jungkook with curiosity.

"Let's not talk about it now. If we meet in Seoul, we can talk about it then." Jungkook said, wrapping his arms around Jin and kissing his forehead.

About the second week of being around Jin, Jungkook realizes he didn't just want a summer of fun, he wanted more, and he was someone who always got what he wanted. He wouldn't force Jin into anything, but he would work them towards where he needed to be, but first, he needed to break the news regarding his age. Which to him shouldn't be an issue as he had shown Jin his mature side, and it wasn't like he had lied about his age. It just happened; they never discussed it.

"Okay, fair enough. Now how about we stop all of this and enjoy our last night together?" Jin gave Jungkook a smile while reaching across the nightstand to grab a condom.

Jungkook tried his best not to react to Jin's words once again about being their last night together. Hearing it, though, really bothered him.

Disregarding the thought, he decides to not let it interfere with their night. Instead of engaging in the usual rough and teasing sex, they had become used to. He took his time with Jin, showering his body with kisses and giving him all he wanted to. Taking the night slow, pouring out his feelings into their night together, feelings that were new and unfamiliar to him.

Jin, who had been in experience relationships before, felt it. With every stroke and every tender kiss that lace his body, he felt Jungkook's raw emotions pour out into their most intimate moment yet.

It frightened him, but he allowed it, knowing that soon they would be back onto their separate paths.

The next morning the two kiss each other by Jin's car while Taehyung helps Jimin pack his stuff in the trunk. "Call me when you get home, okay?"

"I will." Jin responds to Jungkook, giving him another kiss, "thank you for the last couple of weeks; you approaching me made my summer worth it. I needed this."

Jungkook smiled genuinely for the first time he had been with Jin, not the masking smiles he gave usually, but a real one. One that showed his cute bunny teeth, "I can continue giving you what you need if you let me. I will see you in Seoul; let's keep in touch until then."

Jin hummed in acknowledgment, kissing jungkook one last time before pulling away. "Okay, I have to go now. Be safe and take care."

Jungkook's hand lingers onto Jin's, caressing his fingers, not wanting to let go, but he eventually does and bid Jin and Jimin goodbye.
