20. Tell him

It's been about two weeks since the kiss with Justin and about a week since I found out the news... I look over at James laying next to me with his hand on my stomach and his lips lightly parted as his soft snores fill the quietness of the room. I watch as he begins to stir in his sleep "Mmm Sarah stop staring" I blush quickly looking away "Sarah?" I look back at him,  His eyes still shut "Yes?" I whisper making him smile "I can't wait to see who it looks like" I look at my stomach fear in the back of my mind of what's to come; I don't wanna lose this baby... I already lost one. Tears threaten to pour out of my eyes but I blink them away as I remember young 15-year-old me and young 16-year-old James...

"I'm pregnant" I smiled wide at James as he hugged me, picked me up, and spun me around making me squeal and giggle. "It's gonna be great!" He gushed; I know that with the support of both of our parents and our jobs... This will be easy, well financially. "I'm so ready for this! You're my best friend and my girlfriend and soon-to-be baby mama and... Maybe more." I blushed hard at his statement.

I remember laying in the hospital bed... The baby was premature... Way too premature to live, I looked up at the doctor and I'll never forget what he was so hesitant to tell me"I'm sorry... Your baby...he just wasn't strong enough, unfortunately, he's stillborn." I cried on James's shoulder as he held me close., Our parents cried, and James... He wouldn't speak to anyone for weeks, not even me.

"Hey, earth to Sarah!" James is snapping his fingers in front of my face making me snap out of my thoughts. "Huh?" He sighs "You're worried, I can tell" I run my hands over my stomach. "Who have you dominated?" The words are out of my mouth before I can think. "Why do you care?" "Why didn't you tell me?" He runs his fingers through his perfect dark hair "Susan and Cindy." I blink staying silent in shock.  "My best friends?" I gasp. "Oh god no. Susan Meijer and Cindy Goldsmen" I laugh "Oh" I frown "but you never -" "I never told you because I didn't think you'd accept me." I nod looking down, How could he think that? I'm his befriend and now I'm his girlfriend...

See after Justin and I kissed I pushed him away and told him to never touch me like that again,  He came back to the house with me to retrieve his pet before leaving... After a while James and I talked and we decided to try again... Maybe we were meant for each other. "So" James smirks at me "Gonna tell Justin?" I shake my head fast, James sighs in frustration "You have to" "Why?" "Because he deserves to know." I laugh "whys that?" "Because it's his!" He shouts making me flinch "We were supposed to have a family Sarah" he whispers "I know but it just wasn't time yet." I whisper, he pulls me onto his lap slowly snaking his arms around me. 

"You're my girl and I wanna keep you happy but you need to tell the father of the baby that he's gonna have a baby" I sigh leaning back against his chest "I'll tell him when he comes over today." Justin wanted to come over to just hang out with James and me so we said sure... he'll be over here soon. I get up and go to the bathroom, as I examine myself in the mirror I see my little tummy start to poke out; a smile etches across my face as I trace my belly with my hands. "Please don't leave me" I whisper before starting the shower. 

I'm six weeks pregnant and my little oval-shaped baby is growing rapidly, I'm happy but at the same time petrified. I sigh and step into the shower, letting the water cascade down my back, but I hear the door open snapping me out of my thoughts. 

"Sarah?" I freeze it's Justin "Ye-yes?" I stutter nervously "I just wanted to know if you wanted anything to eat?" I'm famished  "Umm yea, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, a biscuit, and a glass of orange juice please."

"Umm okay." He closes the door and I sigh in relief.

After my shower, I feel fresh and smiley, I put on lacy blue underwear, a matching bra, James's sweats, and his hoodie. I walk downstairs and sit at the dining room table  "Hey beautiful" James walks over to me pecking me on the lips  "Hi James" I smile wrapping my arms around his neck. "Mmm you look cute" I giggle leaning in connecting our lips, His arms wrap around my waist; as the kiss deepens I feel the urge to pounce on James. "Umm, you two want some privacy?" I hear Justin and pull away while blushing. "No," I whisper as James stands up.

"I went to mc Donald's for everything," Justin says as he puts everything down on the table. Mmm, the sweet smell of pancakes fills my nose making me smile. "Gimmie!!!" I squeal as the food is put down in front of me, I begin eating, scarfing down the food, and downing my orange juice in a very unladylike fashion. "Woah" I look up at Justin "huh?" I tilt my head to the side earning  a smile "Hungry?" I nod fast.

After breakfast well lunch I suppose I take Justin to the other room and sit on the couch with him. "Soo I'm gonna tell you something." He nods eyeing  me suspiciously "What?" He asks worriedly "I'm pregnant" There I said it. "Aww James will be a great father" I shake my head, and he scrunches his eyebrows. "You're the father" He's silent   "Six weeks pregnant" he shakes his head fast. "No, no, no, no" he gets up pacing back and forth. "Weren't you on the pill?!" He almost yells and I nod. "That's not my kid you slut it's probably James's" I flinch and tears prick in my eyes. He thinks I'm a slut. "You were probably cheating on me!" He shouts before leaving.

I whimper and the tears begin to fall "I'm sorry!" I shout at no one. James has left to pick up some food and I have no one. "I can fix this," I whisper and shake my head as the thought of abortion comes to mind. "Never!" I yell "I'll do it myself. No, I'll do this with James." I wipe my tears away, lay down, and rub my stomach. "My baby. I'm not losing you." I whisper as the tears keep falling. "He may not love you or me but I love you and James loves me and you." I lightly smile then begin to cry harder.

"He said he loved me" I whisper cringe.
