Clarkes POV

~1 Week Later~

"You ready babe?" Lexa asks as she walks back into the room. Today is the day I finally get to be released from the hospital. Lexa stayed with me every single night even when I told her to go home and get some rest. Raven popped by every once in a while to check in and for Lexa to leave for a bit. I think she feels guilty about not being with me. Every time she left the room it would be when someone was in their or I would beg her to get me food, even then she would hesitate.

"Yeah, can we see if Brian's working real quick?" I ask. Brain was my favorite nurse, all though he would always be taking breaks. Darrel would cover for him and I'm pretty sure he's a druggie, not sure how he got a job here. Hopefully it's all legal or I may have to come back here and arrest him.

"Of course," she smiles before helping me down into the wheelchair. She pushes me over to the nurses station.

"Is Brian working this morning?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'll send him over," the lady replies.

"Hey," Brian says coming around the corner and eating a bowl of captain crunch.

"Hey, just wanted to say good bye, we're heading over to my moms and then back to polis."

"Ah dang, well I hope to see you two again, next time I'd prefer if one of you weren't in a hospital bed," he jokes and leans down to give me a hug. I hug him back and a flash of jealousy runs across Lexa's face.

"Fair enough, see you next time," he smiles and Lexa pushes me out to the car my moms waiting in. "Babe, don't worry. He's got nothing on you." She smiles.

Lexa helps me out of the wheelchair into the car and hands it back to the nurse. I'm perfectly capable to do it myself but she insists. She moves over to the other side of the car and sits in the back with me.

"You ready honey?" My mon asks.

"Yes, I'm sick of the hospital," my hand finds Lexa's and our fingers intertwine with one other.

"Alright, you want anything on the way home?" I look over at Lexa and she shrugs.

"Pizza?" I suggest. Lexa nods her head and bringer my hand up to her face and kisses it.

"Sure thing," My mom responds before putting the car in drive and pulling out of the parking lot. The drive back we sang along to the radio, we stopped to grab pizza then went home.

"Babe I can open the door," I said as Lexa was opening the car door after rushing from the other side.

"I know," she smiles before helping me out. She doesn't let go of my hand until we are safely inside the house.

"You wanna go steal the box of pizza and hide up in my room like we would do as teenagers?"

"Always," she laughs and lets Abby grab a few slices before taking the box and following me up the stairs. We put on Jaws and snuggle up, with the pizza box across both of us.

"Clarke Griffin, will you go on a date with me when we get back to Polis?" She asks out of the blue, but it doesn't make me any lest uncertain.

"Yes," I say then mean you to kiss her.

"I love you."

"I love you too," I snuggle closer and fall asleep to the sound of her heart beating.

"Good morning girls, did you sleep good?" My mom asked from the kitchen as me and Lexa came down the stairs.

"Perfect," I reply, grabbing a plate of pancakes for me and Lexa.

"Dang Abby, you make the best pancakes," I hear her say as she's practically drooling over each bite.

"I wouldn't say that," She smiles then goes back to cleaning.

"Well you should." We finish up eating the go back some bags to catch our plane back to polis.

"Are you sure we should go? I want you to be ready," Lexa worries.

"Yes babe, I'm good." She's backs off but still has her worried face as we finish packing.

"Thank you mom, I know this wasn't the trip you were expecting to have." I hug my mom as Lexa unloads the suitcases from the trunk. She insisted.

"Don't thank me, and I know it wasn't but I got to spend some times with you." She smiles. "I should be transferring soon and raven should be already be down there."

"Ok, I love you," I give her one more hug.

"I love you too, and you..." she points at Lexa. "Thank you for everything but now keep taking care of her."

"Don't worry I will," Mom moves over to Lexa and pulls her into a hug.

"I'm glad she's has you."

"Alright, goodbye mom," I say as they pull apart. Lexa holds my hand in hers as we walk off into the airport.
