~Going Up~

Mary, Steve, Pietro, and Wanda went into Tony's lab without permission. They were creating robot from another AI.

"I'm gonna say this once." Steve pronounced.

"How about none-ce?" Tony sassed.

"Shut it down."

"Nope, not gonna happen." Tony shrugged.

Mary looked at the twins in confusion. "Why are people so arrogant nowadays?" She whispered.

They shrugged.

"I know what you're doing." Steve said.

"And you do?" Banner asked. "She's not in your head?"

"I know you're angry." Wanda stepped up.

"Oh we're way past that." Banner said. "I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade."

"Banner, after everything that has happened-"

"It's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony turned from his computer.

"You know what's in there!" Wanda said.

"This isn't a game!" Steve said.

Pietro ran around the lab, causing everyone to shut up. He jerked the cord from the case.

"No, no." He said. "Go on. You were saying?"

Someone shot at Pietro from below. He was fast enough to see in slow motion. The glass beneath him busted and he fell to the floor below him.

"Pietro!" Wanda shouted.

Mary ran to the edge of the large hole and saw Clint. "Clint, what the hell?" She hissed.

"I'm rerouting the upload." Tony said.

Steve tried to stop him, but Tony blasted him back. Mary jumped through the small hole and pushed Clint into the wall. Wanda tried to attack Tony, but Banner held her by her throat.

"Go ahead." He said. "Piss me off."

Tony and Steve clashed, sending each other back. Mary made sure Pietro was okay. She looked above her to see Thor come through.

He held his hammer to the case, surging electricity through it. "Wait!" Banner shouted.

The case blew up, sending pieces of glass and steel everywhere. Pietro held himself around Mary to shield glass from penetrating her. A large shard of glass stabbed through his back.

"Hold on!" Mary pushed Pietro off of her and gripped the glass in back. "On the count of three! One-"

Mary tore the glass out of Pietro's back. He screamed in pain. She hurried to hold her hand above the large mark and seal it.

"You're okay now." Mary lightly ran her hand across it to soothe him. "I'll always save you."

Pietro smiled softly.

Their little conversation was interrupted by a window breaking. Pietro pulled Mary upstairs.

"Damn, I have to get used to that." She gasped.

"I'm sorry. That was odd." A red mechanical man landed in between the group of heroes. "Thank you."

"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve asked.

"I had a vision." He said. "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life, and at its center is that."

"What?" Banner stepped closer. "The gem?"

"That gem is the Mind Stone." Thor said. "It's one of the six Infinity Stones. The greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities."
