chapter 7

I was sitting At the back seat of cholo's car, making myself busy with my phone.

I have to attend the book signing today, that will be held in baliuag bulacan, supermall.

"You really wake me up this early para lang sa book signing mo no?"

Cholo asked, i just give a smirk.

"You're free today right? And besides, it's fun to drive this far kaya"

"Fun?! Really kia?! Fun sayo to?" He sarcastically said

"Of course, enjoy the beauty of this province, we often see tree's in manila, is it okay naman siguro na maka langhap tayo ng fresh air, hindi yung puro air-condition lang at air pollution"

I said
Then he didn't  speak again.

I cleared my throat and ask him.

" Cholo? Do you- do you think, a ramirez can get anything I mean everything that they want, that WE want?"

I ask out of the blue.
He look at me and give me a unknown look.

"How old are you kia?"

"Wow kia talaga? Walang galang lang ganern?"

I said jokingly,

"Just answer my question"

"Okay mr.smart, I'm 24"

"You're 24 years old, and yet you can't identify if we can get everything that we want?  Well I'm gonna tell you this, yes, 'WE' the Ramirez family, can get everything that we want,  but... According to aunt aki, there's always a consequences for getting everything that we want."

"My mom?"

"Yeah, "

"I feel so very sad for my mom"

"I know, I feel so sorry for her too"

"If I'm gonna marry someday, I'll make sure that... The person that i'm going to marry is the man that I love, and the man who loves me enough, ayokong matulad sa magulang ko, loveless marriage is so fucking hard!"

"Ikaw ikakasal someday? Dream on! Walang mag papakasal sayo, ang spoiled brat mo kaya"

He said then laugh.

"Alam mo, kaugaling kaugali mo talaga yung kuya ko no?! Mga bwisit!"

He didn't answer me instead,  he drove very fast,

Napahawak naman ako sa seatbelt ko ng mahigpit.

Mabuti nalang at madaling araw palang kaya walang gaanong sasakyan!
