"aren't you going to eat?"

My brother said, the moment he entered my room.

"Nah, I badly needed to finish this manuscript"

"You know what kia, stop putting lame excuses,  hindi mona kinakausap si sky, even vanilla keeps on bragging me, what the hell is wrong with you huh?!"

"Nag sisisi lang ako"

"Why? "

"I think, I made a wrong decision, I shouldn't tell Matthew about the real situation of sky, what if, malaman ng lahat na robot ang anak ko? I don't want others to treat my son like a trash"

" Do you think, Matthew, will spread that news? Kia wake up, you are just afraid. Be brave and face your fear, at kung sakali man na, malaman ng lahat, ang tungkol kay sky, then let it be. We will protect your son."

"kuya I'm weak, what if-"

"No more what if, like what I said, be brave. Kailangan mong harapin ang mga problema mo, and about Matthew, I think you should talk to each other one more time"

He said and smiled at me.

My brother, is right, he's really Indeed light.
Because through my darkest times, he's the one who gave light to my way.

I hope I can be brave as he is.

"Mommy?"

I look at the little guy who called me,

"Sky~"

"Mommy you're spacing out again"
He said

"Oh, I'm sorry, it's just- a, I already talk to your father"

"Really?! But you told me that he's already dead"

"No, I'm sorry okay? I'm sorry for lying to you, your father isn't dead, he's still alive"

"Talaga po? What did he say po? Did you tell  him, that I am his son?"

"Yes, of course I did. And he's very happy that he has a child like you"

"Can we meet him now mom?"

"A- ano kase sky, the thing is, your dad is kinda busy right now, you know, he's a pilot, he's not in the Philippines right now"

"Oh?  Then let's meet him, when he's here mom"

"Sure baby"

"mommy can I ask you something?"

I look at him, and raise my one eyebrow.

"Sure, what it is?"

"Something strange with me,  it feels like, I'm getting tired"

"You're what?"

"It feels like I'm getting tired mommy"

" Just, sleep for awhile, I'll call a doctor to check on you"

I said, what the hell shann?!

I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed shann's number,

"Answer it dimwit!"

"The number you have dialed, is either unattended or out of coverage area, please try you call la-"

"Damn!"

I immediately took my sling bag with me, and kiss sky on his forehead

"You can't be tired, you just can't"

I said and run towards the door.

"Kia Colleen?!"

I didn't even look, on who the hell is calling me, I need to see shann!
