Wild Date

MINA'S POV :

I wish something miracle happens and time turns back. But it won't. Right?

I am so irritated early in the morning because it is weekend. Yes, I have a date with that crack. Just thinking about it is giving me headache. I wish it rains today so that I can stay indoors. I opened my phone to check today's weather forecast. Sadly it is very normal day.

I woke up unwillingly and dressed up very plainly. If I say I am going on a date people won't believe me.

I came out of my room while all my friends are watching TV.

Nayeon : Where are you going?

Mina: I have a date today.

Sana: You are wearing that?

Mina: It is more than enough for this date.

Momo: You don't like him? Is there any problem?

Before I answer them I got a call. I saw the name and ran out of our dorm saying "I will explain everything when I come back. Bye".

I started to run for my destination as time is clicking 10 within 10 mins. Don't ask me why I need to rush.

FALSHBACK

Tae: Let's meet today evening at the park.

Mina: what time?

Tae: 5 pm

Mina: ok

TIMESKIP

I came to park and is waiting for certain monkey to come. I checked the time again and again. Why is he still not here. I called his number. Within 3 rings he picked

Mina: where are you? I have been waiting for 30 mins

Tae: what is time now?

Mina : 5:45

Tae: so you came 15 mins late. I waited for you for 13 mins. Since you are not coming I tried to call you but you didn't Pick up. I pinged you. You didn't reply. So I left.

I facepalmed myself. I should have picked his call. I started by the time he called. So I thought we are meeting anyhow do I really need to hear him again so I ignored it.

Mina: but I am late just 15 mins

Tae: It is not that you are late by 15 mins. It is just you ignored me for straight 15 mins.

What the hell. How is he able to read my mind?

Tae: let's forget this. You go to your room for now. We will meet soon.

END OF FLASHBACK

I feel like I am going to military. Who the hell will come to their date on time. I constantly checked my phone to see time. I have 5 more mins.

Ufff. I got lucky. I reached on time. Strangely he asked me to meet outside a convenient store.

He came exactly on time. Wow!! He looks like a model. He wore very casual T- shirt and ripped jeans. God!! Why the hell all the handsome people have cracked personality.

As soon as he reached me I waved my hand saying Hi.

Tae: Hi. Umm.... Do you know that we are going on date right?

Mina: Yess...

Tae: Then what are you wearing?

Mina: why? You don't like it?

Tae: No. You look so plain. It doesn't look like a date outfit.

Well, I never felt that it is a date. Even before I answer he started rearranging my hair. He removed my braids and loosen my hair.

Mina: what are doing?

Tae: Highlighting your beauty? Wait a minute. I will be back.

He quickly ran inside the store and came back with a cover. He placed the cover on the table in front of me and picked a lipstick.

He placed his finger on lips and slightly rubbed them. Then he opened the lipstick and started applying it on my lips. Our faces are so close. Have I ever said that he have beautiful eyes.

Tae: I know I am beautiful. Don't look at me like that.

I got my senses back and started to look away. After applying lipstick. He opened eyeliner and started applying it. I wonder how does he know ladies stuff. Maybe from his previous girlfriends I guess.

Tae: Did I ever say you are beautiful?

I clinched my fist on my dress. What is doing to me.

Tae: You have pretty almond eyes. Your eyes speak all your thoughts. Thst is why I am able to tell what you are feeling at the moment just from you eyes.

Mina: Did they ever say 'I Love You'?

Tae: They used to, but not now. But I am pretty sure, they will say it again.

Mina: Why are you so sure of it?

Tae: I got my charms

With that his hand left my face and I opened my eyes to see a much satisfied face of him.

He took a hair clip and placed it in my hair.

Tae: perfect. Now lets go.

He took my hand and lead me to his motorbike. I never knew he owns motorbike.

Mina: You can drive a bike?

Tae: you need to know so many things about me.

We both hoped on and he started driving. We reached a dark and empty alley. There are very few people here and they all look like street dancers and some look like thugs.

He parked the bike along with others. Soon few people gathered him around leaving me out and they all started talking while I just stood awkwardly.

He left them after small talk and reached for my hand. We both started running far from where he parked his bike.

On the way I saw so many drawings on the side walls. It looks like graffite. He suddenly stopped and turned to me. I gave him a confused look. What is he doing?

Tae: close your eyes.

Mina: why?

Instead of answering he closed my eyes with his hands and made me walk straight. After a while he opened me eyes.

I was just stunned at what I am seeing.

Mina: Wow!!!

It is so beautiful. Every detail is perfect.

Mina: you draw this?

He nodded looking at the wall with a proud smile.

He draw my face on a entire 16 feet tall wall. It looks like a Billboard chart.

Tae: Do you like it?

Mina: I love it.

He chuckled. I got to admit that he is sincere when he said he loves me. It can be clearly seen in this one portrait. From my moles to hair tip every thing is perfect.

Tae: This is first time that I ever draw a face.

Mina: why?

Tae: I never met a face that is as pure and innocent as you. I don't want to forget it so I draw you. I was so happy and excited at the same time. I wanted to show you this as soon as I finished but it took some time.

His words shows how much he loved me but it is not enough for me to continue with him. I should not fall for him atleast for my own sake.
