Part 8: The Champions

Mazikeen's POV:
Everyone gathered for the choosing of the champions. All of my brothers had told me that they didn't put their names in but I still had a bad feeling. Dumbledore walked to the goblet and soon the flames turned red and a paper shot out. "The champion for Durmstrang is....Viktor Krum!" I felt sick when it was announced that Viktor was chosen. I had a bad feeling. Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons was chosen too. Then another piece flew out. "And the champion for Hogwarts is....Cain Morningstar!" I just about had a heart attack as I watched Cain get up and shake Dumbledore's hand and walk somewhere else. Me and Oliver shared a look. "Maze are you ok? You look as white as snow" I shook my head "No...." Dumbledore started to give a speech when another piece of paper flew out. He caught it and quietly read it off "Harry Potter?" He looked up "Harry Potter!" I watched Harry who was beside me sit down "HARRY POTTER?!" Dumbledore yelled. Me and Harry shared a look before he got up and went to Dumbledore. They both left and I looked over at Anatole and Andre who were looking back at me. We all knew how dangerous the tournament is. And now our own brother would have to be in it.

When the champions walked out I waited for Cain. He was talking with Viktor and Fleur. I ran over and hit him on the back of the head "What we're you thinking?! Putting your name in there really?!" Cain winced "Ow! Chill Mazikeen!" I saw Fleur and Viktor looking at eachother and then back at me and Cain. "What happened to laying low!" Cain scoffed "I thought you would be happy I was chosen." I wasn't at all. "You lied straight to my face! You, Andre and Anatole told me you guys didn't put your names in!" I hit him on the arm pretty hard this time when Andre and Anatole came over and grabbed my arms "Mazikeen calm down!" Andre said while trying to keep me still "You are going to get yourself killed Cain!" I yelled as Andre and Anatole practically dragged me away and to the Gryffindor common room.

Cain's POV:
"I am so sorry about her" I laughed as Fleur smiled "So is she your girlfriend or something" me and Viktor shared a look "Oh god no! She's my sister. Which I think she might kill me next time I see her" A couple of minutes later I watched as Oliver ran though the doors "Um Cain what is happening to Mazikeen?" I laughed "Shes mad that I was chosen" Oliver shook his head "No your brothers sent me to get you! Sometimes happening and it's not good!" Me and Viktor shared a look before following Oliver to the Gryffindor common room. We walked in to see a few students, Andre, Anatole and McGonagall all gathered around the couch. "We got her calmed down so we left for a second and came back to her like this!" I saw Andre turn to us as we looking at Mazikeen who looked completely out of it and kept saying "Evil with slay the snake on the field of poppy's" McGonagall was getting students to back up and Viktor was at her side "What does she mean by evil will slay the snake on the field of poppy's?" I shrugged and turned to see Harry Potter of all people writing down the phrase and then leaving. McGonagall sighed "I'm going to get Madam Pomfrey" she left and it left me, Viktor, Andre and Anatole standing around Maze who kept repeating the phrase. She was completely pale. "Ok so what happened when you got her here?" I asked "Well we got her calmed down and got her to sleep so we left to go do something when Oliver came running at us saying that something was wrong is her"

Harry's POV:
I had asked Sirius and Remus to meet me at the Shrieking Shack. I waited until they arrived "Harry what was so urgent that you called us here?" Sirius laughed a little "It's Mazikeen" Sirius's face had worry painted all over it and Remus looked a little worried too. "What happened to her?" I shrugged "Well it all started when her brothers dragged her into the common room where she was completely freaking out about Cain being chosen for the Triwizard tournament along with me but that's not important. They got her calmed down and asleep so they left for a few minutes before she woke up screaming." Sirius and Remus looked worried "What happened after that" Remus sighed "She was completely out of it and started saying 'Evil will slay the snake on the field of poppy's' but we don't know what it means" I saw Remus and Sirius think for a minute. "I have no idea what that means but Harry this is what I need you to do. Once Mazikeen is ok again bring her here. I want to see her" Sirius sighed "Sirius is that a good idea? What happens if your sister finds out" Remus looked at Sirius "I will protect her from my sister and her stupid husband. They can't get to her before I do"

Ok so I wasn't going to make anything extremely crazy happen in this chapter but it just took a turn ✌️😗
