The Six of Us

"I'm telling you guys, there's one more, I can feel it" says Idalia. She's been trying to convince us that there's another one of us for days now. Having four mates already seems impossible, five would be unimaginable.

"There's no way, there's already five of us, six would be insane" said Roman.

"Um guys I-" Mayla tries to speak but is cut off by Idalia.

"Um okay and? That doesn't mean that there isn't another one. Your reasoning makes no sense"

"Um yah I-" Mayla tried again but was cut off by Roman.

"Better watch your tone"

"Oh yah? And what are you gonna do if I don't."

"Guys I-" That's it, I'm done. As Roman step closer to Idalia, about to say something, I cut him off .

"Oh I'm gonna-"

"Hey! Are you guys deaf or something? And here I thought you guys were werewolves . Do you not fucking hear Mae trying to say something!". I yelled at them.

"Shit, I'm sorry baby, come here" says Roman as he goes behind Mae and wraps his arms around her.

"Yah I'm sorry babe, blame this dumbass" Idalia says and points to Ro which earns her a glare from him. She then goes up to Mae and kisses her cheek.

"*giggles* I was just going to say that I agree with Idalia. I also feel like someone is missing, I don't know how to explain it I just... feel it" Then Kai comes up to me and tugs at my sleeve. Damn, sometimes he's so quiet that I forget he's there.

"What's up baby?" He then points to himself.

"You feel this way too?" He nods his head yes. Ever since we found him six months ago he hasn't said anything. Whenever we question it he gets in a depressed mood so we decided not to bring it up anymore. It scares me, hell, it even makes me angry at the thought of what happened to him, but he's here now and that's what matters. For now at least.

"Told you guys!!" Idalia yells.

"So what's our next move?" I ask.

"I can cast a spell that will give us an idea of where they are, although I won't be able to pinpoint their exact location," she says.

"Okay sounds like a plan," says Roman.

"I'm going to need about a week to collect everything I need and to set it up" We all nod our heads.

"Don't you think it's weird that we haven't run into them yet considering how far we've been and how much we've traveled."

"Well for all we know they could be on the other side of the world" says Mae.

"That's true... what if they're a mermaid or a fairy or something like that!?" Roman says.

"I mean maybe, after all I am a witch. But them being something other then a werewolf would be problematic considering we are enemies with most other beings."

"My father wouldn't allow it... let's just not talk about hypotheticals" I say then walk away. Kai follows me to my room. Our sleepwear for that night was already set out so we put them on and lay down. Kai puts his hands on my face and rubs his thumb across my cheek.
