I opened my eyes to see Ron's room. It was getting very familiar to wake up here in his arms.
"Morning," Ron groaned in his morning voice.
I chuckled softly and turned to look at him. "Good morning."
I sat up to find Harry sitting on his bed with his arms folded across his chest, glaring daggers at the two of us. "Ahem," he coughed.
Ron and I both sprung up, clearly flustered. "Bloody hell Harry!" Ron exclaimed, not expecting his friend to be in the room with us.
"Yeah, yeah. This is my room too, incase you forgot," he spat. "You're both lucky I came back after you were asleep."
Ron and I blushed together and I pulled the sheets up over my shoulders. "Sorry," I apologized.
"Whatever. At least you guys aren't just doing this to mess with someone else's relationship," Harry teased, tossing a shirt at Ron. "Now get up. It's time for breakfast."
Harry left the room and Ron and I both got dressed in our uniforms. I kept looking at him with the same goofy grin on my face. He couldn't stop smiling either.
"Ready to head down?" he asked, making his way over to the door.
I nodded and followed him out into the Gryffindor common room. Many students were gathered together, also heading down to The Great Hall for breakfast. Their heads all turned to see both of us simultaneously.
"Wow, we've really come full circle," Ron whispered in my ear as the students gawked at us, whispering to one another. "Nothing to see here!" he yelled, shooing them with his hands and pushing through the crowd.
Ginny and Hermione made their way out of the gathering over to me and Ron, smirking at the two of us. "I'm sure you're starved," Hermione commented, glancing at both of us suspiciously. "Let's go eat."
"Don't need to tell me twice," Ron said, quickening his step. "Come on!" he exclaimed, motioning for us to follow him.
The four of us arrived at The Great Hall and sat down next to Harry at the Gryffindor table. Cedric joined us quickly after.
"Everyone sleep well?" Cedric asked, aiming the question at me and Ron. "You two?" he said again once we didn't answer.
"Fine, thank you," Ron shot, taking a sip of his drink. Both he and I were blushing profusely.
"So, you two are together for real now, huh?" we heard from behind us. Ron and I spun around to see Draco raising his eyebrows. "Who would have thought."
"Piss off," Ron said, waving a hand to dismiss Draco's comments.
"No, I think it's great. Two idiots in love," Draco continued. I rolled my eyes, but Draco's attitude had little effect on me. I was too happy to care.
"I'm just glad that the whole plan is over. That was too stressful of a secret for me to keep," Harry remarked, sitting up like a weight was lifted off his shoulders.
"You knew?" Hermione scolded, turning to him and whacking him on the arm. Harry winced and rubbed his shoulder.
"Okay, can we move past that now?" Ron asked in between bites. I nodded to agree.
"Never," Cedric said, eyeing me.
I was glad everyone was taking the whole plan lightly and that we could all laugh about it now. If someone had told me yesterday morning that this is how Hermione and Cedric would've reacted, I wouldn't have believed them for a second.
"Ready for the big game tonight, Weasley?" Cedric asked, slapping Ron on the back and changing the subject.
Ron laughed nervously and nodded. Today was the first game of the season against Slytherin, and it was Ron's first time playing as keeper. He seemed really stressed out about it.
