"I am so sorry," I apologized, scrambling to find the right words. "I completely forgot." I made a mental note to get a schedule, because I have now double booked myself twice in the last week.

"Yeah, figures," Draco scoffed as he folded his arms across his chest. "Should've known this is why you'd blow me off," he shot, nodding his head at Ron on the word "this."

"Draco, I'm sorry," I said again, more impatient this time.

Draco's eyes lingered past me and fell on Ron behind me. I turned to look at him as well, and noticed he was still visibly uncomfortable. "Ron?" I asked, slightly concerned. "You good?"

He didn't answer. He just stared at Draco.

"What's wrong with him?" Draco asked, scrunching up his nose and giving Ron a dirty look.

"I don't know," I said, walking back over to stand beside his bed. "Ron?"

"Don't leave," Ron pleaded urgently. "Please, work on your project here."

"Won't that be weird?" I whispered, leaning in to Ron so that Draco couldn't hear.

"Please," was all he responded with.

"Okay..." I agreed suspiciously, turning back to face Draco. "Let's just work on it here."

"In the hospital wing?" he snorted, tilting his head to observe the room. "You've got to be kidding me."

"Get over yourself," I spat, setting up a little area next to Ron's bed where we could work. "Did you bring your book this time?"

"Yes," he hissed.

"Great. Now, let's make notecards about those flies," I said while jotting down our names on the top of my paper.

We both began scribbling on the notecards furiously until I noticed that Draco had stopped. He was just staring at me.

"What?" I asked, lifting my head from being hunched over.

"You have a piece of popcorn in your hair," he said softly.

"Oh," I replied uncomfortably, my face getting warm. I reached up to try and find it.

"Here, let me get it," he said, reaching his hand towards my face.

"Get your hand away from her, you filthy git!" boomed Ron from behind us.

Startled, Draco and I froze. Ron rose from his bed and stood on one leg next to us. "Keep your hands to yourself," he ordered, hopping between us.

"I'm getting your popcorn kernel out of her hair!" Draco explained, pulling his hand back.

"I'm her boyfriend. I can do it," Ron spat, putting his hand on my head to pull it out.

"Thanks," I said quietly, unsure of how to act so that one of them wouldn't kill the other.

"Jeez, Weasley, didn't know you were the jealous type," Draco scoffed, smirking.

"I'm not," Ron shot.

"Then why'd you get so riled up?" Draco asked tauntingly, the same devilish grin on his face. "Am I just that intimidating?"

"Enough!" I exclaimed. "Stop. Both of you," I demanded, holding my hands up to their faces.

Ron grabbed my arm and pulled me over to him so that Draco was out of earshot. Draco just rolled his eyes at us and went back to writing. "I swear, y/n, something is going on with him," Ron observed. "And I don't like it."

I glanced back at Draco who seemed to be so innocently working on the project, but my mind flashed back to Cedric's warning. I couldn't tell Ron that. He can't be too worked up while he's still recovering.
